I am in PAIN right now…Since high school, I’ve had a recurring ankle problem that came from playing basketball. NO, nobody broke my ankles out there on the court. It came from me pulling down a rebound and landing on some guy’s foot. I knew I was hurt, but I didn’t want to come out of the game since I was doing my thing out there. My line for the game: 18 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and one severely sprained ankle. I couldn’t even get my shoe off by myself after the game. That’s how bad the pain was.
Well, that pain randomly comes back every few months or so. Today just HAPPENS to be one of those painful days. I guess that’s what I get for all those jokes about the Gout…LOL. I’m really hearing that Ini Kamoze song every time I try to walk around…”I’m stepping in hot-ter this yeaaaar…Here come the hot-stepper!” For real, it feels like my ankle is on fire when I put my weight on it. That bitch is HOT!
I’m on my way to see a Dr. right now, but it’s looking like I’m going to be out of commission this weekend. Ah well…If they can tell me what I need to do to get my shit right again, I guess a weekend off my feet is worth it.

Feel better…it’s old age man. I have a bum knee and every time it rains, I feel it. That’s what I get for laughing at the old folks every time they complained about being able to predict the weather.
