A Cry For Help…(To All Techies)

HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLP!

My computer is infected with adware/spyware. I can’t get rid of these motherbitches. Pop-ups are chasing me like Jason Voorhees in those Friday the 13th movies. Every time I delete the programs I think are causing the pop-ups, they come back with a VENGEANCE. It’s almost as if they are mocking me…sitting there looking at me saying

“You know you done fucked up, right? You KNOW you done fucked up?”

I don’t know if it came from me or my roommate opening some fucked-up e-mail attachment(which we’ve both admitted to doing). Or maybe it came from one of us downloading smut(which we’ve also both admitted to doing). Either way, it’s here now, and it’s a pain in the ass.

SOMEBODY PLEASE MAKE IT GO AWAY!!!!!!111

Whoever can send me a link or tell me about a program to get rid of this shit, there’s a cool $5 in it for you. The reward would be higher, but I’m not getting paid for blogging so I’m a brokeass. Besides, if I have no computer, then I cannot blog, and you will no longer be able to laugh at the descriptions of my various fuckups in the game of life. Hell, you should be paying me to fix my computer. But I’ll still give the one whose advice works a cool $5. I’ll even put the bill in the freezer so it’ll literally be a cool $5. That’s just the kinda stand-up guy I am.

Now that the reward is set…COMMENCE TO HELPING!

Go here http://www.lavasoftsupport.com/index.php?showtopic=39512 and run a couple of scans. Then download Ad-Aware and run it. All the info you need should be throughout the comments. Hope this helps.

    Download the following….

    Adaware (the latest version)
    Hijackthis (the latest version)
    Coolwebshredder
    Spybot Search and Destroy….

And finally, at the microsoft website there is a beta for their spyware removal program….I’m running those as we speak…I haven’t had a browser hijacking since…..

    Good luck….

System Mechanic seems to work well, also McAfee, but its rather pricey. You could also visit http://www.pcworld.com for any info, they usually have free downloads of proggies that would do the trick. If you are skilled enough to google the exact problem you are having, you could go into your registry keys manually and delete them, BUT, DONT do that unless you know what your doing!! You could seriously fuck up your systems.

Ad-Aware is awesome – although if you download the Firefox browser you won’t have to worry about that stuff anymore. IE blows.

    Where’s my $1??

Putting it in the freezer …. lol That’s better than pulling it out of your pocket all sweaty. Yeaaaach.

@ Shan, I’ve seen ALL of them…except Disco Godfather. The scene you’re talking about was from Dolemite 1.

The best one was “Dolemite 2: The Human Tornado”…followed closely by “Petey Wheatstraw: The Devil’s Son In Law”

It’s sad I really am a Rudy Ray Moore aficianado. I even have the Dolemite Christmas Album at home LOL
