What’s up everybody,
Tonight, I decided to embark on another of my investigative journalism missions. Unlike the others, I did not have a camera phone with me to document what I saw. So I guess that means you fuckers will just have to take my word for it this time.
Actually, since I mentioned the cameraphone…last weekend I happened to run into the toupee man from my photoblog in that new Giant grocery store on 14th Street NW in DC. In case you forgot what he looks like, here you go…
Cuz was still rocking that fucked-up toupee with pride. I wanted to knock that thing off his head…but since I got to see the guy up close this time, I realized that he’s a pretty big dude when he’s standing up. He might could whup my ass. So I kind of walked over to the next aisle before laughing at him. What? You can go ahead and clown me for avoiding that confrontation, but I’d rather you make fun of me for that than make fun of me for getting my ass whupped by someone with a dead animal looking toupee on his head.
But back to the original topic…Tonight’s mission: See what kind of people are out at Wal Mart at 11:00 on a Tuesday night. I know, I know…sounds stupid, but since I took an evening nap, I was wide awake and quite bored. Plus, I’m in Fredericksburg, VA, so there wasn’t much else open. I embarked on my journey around 11:15, but first stopped to pick up some beer from the Shell station. I finally arrived at Wal Mart at 11:40 or so(I drank one of the 22s I bought in the parking lot). Upon my arrival, I am shocked to see that there actually are about 20 or 30 cars in the lot. Once I entered the place, I realized that most of these cars must’ve belonged to folks that work at Wal Mart, cause there were more night staff employees walking around than customers. So as I am on my cell phone talking about the mission, I start hearing all kinds of happy-ass announcements on the loudspeaker. It made sense: When there are no customers in the store, Wal Mart employees fuck around and say dumb shit over the P.A. system. I don’t blame them, either. If I worked the overnight shift at a place like that, I’d probably do dumb shit to amuse myself, too. Racing shopping carts…playing baseball with rolls of Charmin toilet paper…Put the most violent or sexually explicit movies in the store in the entertainment section DVD players…stuff big ass cucumbers in my uniform slacks then approach female customers and talk to them like everything is normal…All kinds of silly shit.
I figured I wasn’t going to see any attractive women in there, but as I was getting ready to get in line, I see this one fine lady walking around near the hair and beauty supply section. So me being me, I went over to get a closer look to make sure my eyes did not deceive me. Lo and behold, the lady actually was fine. She was dressed like an off-duty stripper, but that’s neither here nor there. By chance(not cause I followed her or anything), I ended up behind her in line. I didn’t try to talk to her at first since I didn’t want her to realize I was…I mean, umm…I didn’t want her to get under the impression that I was following her. So I decided to wait until she got outside, then approach her. It was after midnight, so I figured fuck it, why not…I’m kinda glad I waited, cause as soon as I got outside, I saw that she came there with some white guy who was waiting for her in his car. That saved me some unnecessary drama(and the likelihood of an unnessary rejection). Either way, I put my impulse purchases from Wal Mart in the car and headed on my way.
So there you have it. My late night trip to Wal Mart? Absolutely pointless. But it did cure my boredom. So there. I knew something good would come from it.

I drove down to Hampton then to VA Beach over the weekend. On my way down there and coming back, I stopped by Central Park wawa to get a gas….I must say, Fredericksburg is one lonely town.
Let me just say that when I went to visit my sister at Hamptn a few weeks ago, we rolled up in Wal-Mart at about midnight drunk as fuck and the Wal-Mart there was POPPIN!
The Wal Mart in Hampton is different @ Brutha Code. That shit is always fun because you WILL see someone fine regardless of what time you go there. Also, you will see some ghetto ass shit regadless of what time you go to.

I swear WalMarts are like friggin’ night clubs. You see all kinds of charcters in there at all times of the day and night.
Damn… and I thought Co-Op city was bad. Y’all really ain’t got shit better to do and I really couldn’t live outside of New York.
@ Yes, I am visiting relatives in Fredericksburg, VA. If that were Dc, I would have had options. I actually could have found something to do there, but I was scared I’d end up in some kind of honky-tonk redneck bar by accident. I didn’t want to walk in the front door and have the record stop and everybody stare at my black ass…LOL. Fuck around and have someone walk up to me like “You lost, boy?” LMAO
If ya’ll think the Burg is a lonely town, you need to see Balt Co Middle River!!!! Not even a Super Wal Mart!!!!! I can’t wait to get the heck outta here!!!!! The Burg is looking better and better every day!!!!

Yeah, WalMart employees also do that kind of thing in the wee hours of the morning, here, too. I’m an early bird and will multitask my az to WalMart, while waiting on the gym to open. Or just to take a naked stroll through WalMart and look at smiley faces and roll-back stickers (Roughly translated, I get to go somewhere with sans bae-bae kids, and can carefully decipher prices of items to see if I’m really saving by spending – oxymoron – all our hard-earned money in there.). I’m, like, in there with those loud employees having whole conversations over the PA system. I’m always thinking, dang, don’t they know they are a 24-hour joint? They sell e’rythang. People are bound to be inside. Lookin’ for stuff they DON’T need. Aiding the Waltons to climb the billionaire-stat-ladder. From booty-chasing, impulse-buying, bored brothers.

You thing that’s bad? i live in a college town and i don’t drink so wal mart is my only option when i’m bored at night and can’t sleep. we call it *cough* “wal-mart-ing” *smh* tis best to go after 12…i swear all the fine college guys shop after 12. LOL *not that u’d care*
My friends have actually been kicked out of wal mart, which is just sad. lol but we have two in town so that doesn’t spoil our fun.

I live off of 14 on Colorado and I like the new Giant..I think it will turn ghetto real soon even if the white people go there now…..I will keep my eyes open for that man!!!!!!

Oh yeah, you’re right. It’s a MAJOR improvement. My ex girlfriend used to be scared to go there by herself at night because of the folks that hang atound outside the building in that part of 14th Street.
I have seen many an interesting thing at Wal-Mart during the wee hours of the morning. quite entertaining and helps the ice cream cravings, lol
