Today I was having a discussion online with Domonic, Cal, and Hassan about the inherent sexiness of many Ethiopian women. Then it hit me: I have YET to devote blog space to this topic. Considering that it is definitely one that inspires passion and good memories, I shall proclaim this day “Sexy Ethiopian Woman Day” and write a little something.
Where do I begin? Ah yes…I will start off by talking about the first Ethiopian woman that took my breath away, Rehana. Rehana worked in the women’s section of Hechts department store in the summer of 1999. At that time, I had a part time evening job there selling luggage in the downstairs section of the place. Our paths did not cross my first couple of weeks there, but once I caught a glimpse of her, I was never the same. This woman was as close to physically perfect as I could imagine at that point in my life. Beautiful face, sexy legs, nice breasts, perfect ass, just everything you could want. It was as if the woman from your sexiest fantasies were placed right in front of you, selling overpriced blouses to middle-aged women. I was actually a little intimidated to go speak to her at first, especially since this one brother who worked upstairs in the men’s suits section was always up in her face whenever I would come around. I realized that I would regret it for the rest of the summer if I didn’t make a move, so about after about two more weeks of just smiling at her and saying hello, I approached her. I only had a few days before I was going back to Hampton, so I knew it was now or never. To my suprise, she always thought I was handsome and told me she looked forward to seeing my smile whenever I came upstairs. Plus, that fucker in the men’s suits department wasn’t even her man. He just came over to try to block all the other brothers who might have wanted to talk to her. So we conversed on the phone a few times, but never really got to go out because she had to return to the University of Maryland Eastern Shore before I had to go back to Hampton. We kept in touch for awhile, but then lost track of each other. So to all my readers, if you know a Rehana that went to UMES, holler at a brother. You’ll know if it’s the same one I am referring to, because she is fine as all getthefuckouttatown. The DC area is blessed with more than it’s fair share of good-looking Ethiopian women. It’s to the point that you don’t really notice the average or the less-than attractive Ethiopian women out here that much, because the superstars shine so brightly. I used to meet all kinds of beautiful ones at Anzu in Adams Morgan on Sunday nights. That place used to be a gold mine. I never wrote about it on here before, because I did not want too many of y’all to come through and niggerize my little spot.
Now I know that sounds fucked up, especially coming from a fellow black person, but let me explain. I know some folks read the site, then see about 10-20 comments after each entry and assume that those are the only folks who looked at the entry. Well, it’s a significantly higher number of people reading here that never leave comments at all. Now, I love ALL my readers, but I don’t necessarily want all you motherfuckers up at the same spot as me on the same night. Some of you might not know how to act. Come in there starting fights and smacking bartenders and shit. Hopefully, you’re all civilized individuals with home training. I’m willing to bet a few dickheads slipped through the cracks, though. Just remember, I still care about you, even if you are a fuckup. Also, telling too many other dudes about a certified gold mine of good looking women almost guarantees that the next time you go, it will be a swordfight. Men always go places where there are women.I actually know dudes that go to this one club in MD, and wait for the male strippers to finsh performing and leave, then come in to party with the drunk, horny chicks that are still there. That alone makes it safe to assume that wherever there is pussy, there will be dudes not far behind in pursuit of it.
But yeah, Adams Morgan in itself is a haven of beautiful Ethiopian women. So is U Street. Downtown Silver Spring, as well. If this area has one natural resource, it is an abundance of beautiful Ethiopian women. To my beautiful Ethiopian sisters, I tip my hat to you.

Somalian women are beautiful too, and have a look similar to Ethiopian women, however, their body structures seem different. Somalian women seem more slender – not that Ethiopian women are fat… but they’re more curvy – in my experience.

I will say this: NEVER just assume an Etriean is Ethiopian based off of appearance. Some will be cool about it, but I’ve seen a couple get mad. I’m Ethiopian women and let me say that I don’t think that the azz is a quality that we have.IF you know anybody sharing let me know. But Zeezy, yes Eritreans do get offended if you call them Ethiopian. Start to practice asking “Are you Habesha?” Thats more a universal term.Then they can specify if there Eritrean or Ethiopian. DC is freaking the MECCA of Habesha people though. I get tired of seeing all them.

wow…i didn’t realise we have so many admirers. yes, ethiopians are perhaps the most beautiful people on earth, especially our women. but we (ironically excluding me) tend to have deep hatred for each other, which probably stems from jealousy and competition. that is one thing i never understood. that is a natural quality in women everywhere, but in ethiopians it seems to be amplified. anyway, though, i think i speak for most everyone who knows an ethiopian woman when i say that more admirable and awe-inspiring than our looks is the respect we have for our culture. naturally, ethiopia, being the cradle of mankind, has the richest history and culture in the world, hands down. our culture is kept alive by the woman’s efforts, whether it be through the way she raises her children or the clothes she wears. i have seen many people of other ethnicities come to america, for example, and completely disown and abandon anything that has to do with their country of origin. but never an ethiopian. never. and for this i have the utmost respect. good job ladies…we have done well.

Atlanta, Minneapolis etc. New York even Boston have their share of beautiful Ethiopian women, but DC is the undisputed leader in this category by far. I have got to keep this under cover. You should see the beautiful sister that I work with, has one of those train wreck asses too, but she is just one of the masses of exquisite. I find that Ethiopian women are amenable to conversation and a lot more with African American brothers, but you need to not be a knucklehead and there are too many of those floating around that mess up the image. I have found that if you are a thorough brother you may in some cases have to break through some skepticism, like my man running this site says, but when you strike gold, it is more than worth the work, you gonna find yourself traveling in a new world.

As an Ethiopian male I am not happy that most of you refer to our beautiful women as ass and legs, perhaps one of the reason that some of our women give you the cold shoulder is because you are not being the gentlemen she expects you to be. See, you need to understand the culture before you try to score. It is my understanding that some African American women could tolerate your behavior or she might actually slap you and put you in your place, but most Ethiopians aren’t raised that way. You probably have noticed that they are soft spoken, quite, and hardly use foul language when they talk, and that is because of their culture.
An Ethiopian woman also expects her man to treat her with respect. Don’t say fuck this fuck that when you talk to her. Also, pull up your pants and act like a real man. Don’t be offended if she refuses your advance just because she doesn’t see the man she dreamed of in you. Like most women, they are naturally picky of guys they want to associate with and if you are there just for the sex then most will have nothing to do with you.
Remember, only the stronger gene survives and that is because women choose with whom they want to associate with. Are you that man? Will you be a great father for her children and a great respecting husband?
No offense, but before attempting to date someone from a different culture, try to learn some about them instead of trying to assimilate them to your own culture.

I must say you have not seen Fulani. How come nobody talks about the Fulani a.k.a fellata, tuareg,wodaabe.
They are the most beautiful people in the world. Most of them look habesh but they usually are a nicer version, I swear. Go to Guinea, Futa Jallon. You’d think you are in paradise. The funny thing is many of them can’t get a sun tan and they are as white as white people. Too bad. The biggest nomadic group in the world. But Ethiopians are nice. By saying Ethiopian we have to be specific, cause so many other people look like them like Eritrean and Fulani which is a common name for a people who live in west africa (taught to orignate from egypt because of similar language to ancient egyptians and documents dating to back then. some ethiopians are nice, but most have big foreheads or unproportional faces compared to fulani. It is amazing how strikingly similar they are to habesh or somali. I even taught I was in Ethiopia in certain areas. But they are not mixed race although they look like.

With all due respect, why is that the black american loves to date outside their race? Stay with your own women! Habesha women are for habesha men. African American women are for you guys. Although mixing with African Americans rarely occur, it is HIGHLY frowned upon in our community. Our culture/traditions are way tooo different! Ethiopian women have a reputation all over Africa for being desirable but stuck up. Ethiopians see themselves as a unique culture that is apart from other black Africans. To be honest they are right…the food, religion, music , you name it it is not very typically African.
I don’t think your typical Ethiopian woman would be too impressed with a typical AA guy.More likely Ethiopian or white.
