I know I’m supposed to be happy that it’s a Friday, but today has been a rough one. My cell phone died this morning, so I’m walking around without my lifeline to the rest of the world. It’s crazy how over the past few years, I’ve grown to depend on that little piece of metal and plastic to get through my day. I can’t do the unnecessary stuff either, like take pictures of people doing crazy stuff in the street or “independent filmmaking” with women back at my place. This sucks.
Add to that, the fact that I got caught in a brief rain shower earlier with no umbrella, and you see why I have been a slight bit withdrawn and moody today.
This whole little 24 hour stretch has been kind of irritating. I even got shot down last night by the same woman for the 3rd time. I don’t know why I keep trying…I think it’s because each time, she actually acts as if she’s considering it, then she has let me down easier as the incidents happened. If she had said “EWWW! GET AWAY FROM ME BITCH!” I might have given up. Still, I guess it’s time to chalk that one up.
Actually, the first two times shouldn’t count because I was drunk…So this latest shot-down, the sober one, is the one that is the kiss of death. She knew I was somewhat serious this time. The young Leon would take this as an excuse to go party and wreak havok on the unsuspecting ovaries of the single women of DC. But the Old Broken-Down Black Man version of Leon who is typing right now just wants to take a nap, get a new phone, and watch some playoff basketball later tonight.
So since TGIF does not apply to me today, let me find some other uses for that acronym:
Those Gay Iguana-F*ckers – Used to describe all people who routinely say “TGIF” every Friday
This Girl Is Foolish – Who does she think she is shooting down the sober Leon?! Does she not know who I am?! I’M THE JUGGERNAUT!!!
There we go. Had to vent that bitterness real quick so that I can salvage what’s left of my Friday. Have a nice weekend, everyone.

Yeah, “Snakes on a plane”! I guess somebody went to go see X-Men 3 today and was also amused by this ridiculous trailer!
And as for the movie itself, I don’t want to spoil anything for those that haven’t seen it (well, maybe I do a little), but let’s just say that makers of this flic have parused the you-tube, and that sh*t is hilarious!
