A few hours ago, I had a conversation with one of my friends about love at first sight. She is starting to really like someone, but she does not believe that love at first sight is really possible. I told her that I didn’t believe in love at first sight either, until the first woman I fell in love with. Let me go ahead and share the story with you all.
It was early July, a few months after my college graduation. I had a job working for BET.com out here, but I was still living at home since I just moved back to Maryland. The receptionist lady at BET.com was named Angela. This woman was fine as hell. She kind of resembled that porn star Obsession, only younger looking and with a better body. I flirted with her every damned day for about a month and a half, and the day she left the job, she finally gave me her number and said she wanted to go out. Needless to say, I was happy as a runaway slave.
So I go home that day, still grinning and wondering if Angela gives head as good as her porn star look-alike. I called her, and we talked for awhile. Suddenly, I heard the doorbell ring. I knew that my sister from Los Angeles was coming by with a few of her friends from school, so I didn’t think anything of it. That is, until I opened the door.
I took one look at my sister’s friend from law school and said to Angela “Um…I’ll call you back in a little bit.”
I never called Angela again.
Law School girl was breathtaking, and once we locked eyes, it was over. She was all I could think about, and we were inseparable until she had to go back to LA. We tried doing the long-distance thing, but that didn’t work out. Neither one of us was patient or mature enough for the complications that a long-distance romance brought on.
Honestly, I didn’t know for a fact that I was falling in love until after a few days of being with her, but I knew from the jump that something was very special and different about her. So since I somehow knew it was more than just lust when our eyes met, I can honestly say that I do believe in that fairy-tale, love at first sight stuff. If it happened to The Hustleman, it can happen to anybody.

Yeah, it’s hard not to fall in love with someone who looks like a porn star you like. It’s like you’re getting the fantasy, but without the sexually transmitted disease.
there is definitely love at first sight and i remember the first time it happened to me. I was in 10th grade sitting in chemistry class when “he” walked by the classroom door… (cue “All I do Is Think Of You” new edition style) I was IN LOVE with that boy from the moment I saw him… not in lust although I did want to bone but it was more than that… aaaaaahhh memories
