The Media for bothering Madonna. If she wants to adopt a little African boy, let her adopt a little African boy. Who really gives a rat’s @ss if the government bent the rules to let her adopt him? The boy’s father even said he was too poor to take care of the kid, so he’s happy that the kid is getting adopted. The dad probably wants Madonna to adopt him, too. I know I do! Someone tell Madonna to adopt me. I’m well-behaved. Funny. Charming. Great at parties. Plus, I clean up after myself. Come on Madonna! Help me out! I have bad credit, um, I mean, I need the love and nurturing that only you and Guy Richie can provide!

I usually don’t go for blonde barbie doll chicks like her, but she does it for me. She’s sexy, funny as hell, and seems like she’d be fun to hang out with. Plus, she’s got a removable platinum grill. I could be on some Ice-T sh*t with her on my arm. Then again, I am going to stop right now before I jeopardize any chance I may have of getting invited to the Playboy Mansion. Or, before I piss off the women of color who constitute the bulk of my groupi..I mean, beloved readers. Love y’all!

Canadian bacon. I had to learn about this the hard way back in the day. I ordered a pizza from Papa John’s and I had my choice of any two toppings. In an effort to consume two week’s worth of swine in one night, I asked for pepperoni and Canadian bacon. Once I opened the pizza box, I was highly upset. I said “WHAT IS THIS?! THAT AIN’T BACON! THAT’S REALLY SKINNY DRIED-UP HAM!” After a series of three phone calls, I realized that what was on my pizza was indeed Canadian bacon. I had to call three people, because I didn’t want to believe the first two when they didn’t give me the answer that I wanted to hear. Ever since, whenever I hear the words “Canadian bacon” my face automatically frowns. I can’t even help it.

My less-than $20 Halloween costume. This one is going to be memorable! I find myself wearing the hat around the house like it’s normal. Too bad I can’t tell you all what it is. I just know that I’m going to be at somebody’s halloween party this weekend now that I came up with a funny costume idea. Plus, it’s easy to take it off and look normal just in case I’m the only person dressed up wherever I go.
I’m feeling nice, so no more dissapprovals from me today. Actually, let me throw in two more approvals for good measure.

The Departed. I really enjoyed this movie. It definitely lived up to the advance hype in my opinion. It was a bit long, but other than that, I liked every other aspect of it. I’m probably going to add it to the DVD collection when it comes out.

John Legend’s new CD. Yes, the man looks like a metrosexual Mighty Mouse, but he makes some good music. That album is good from beginning to end. Really smooth. Definitely better than his debut CD, which I also liked.

I like the Approve/Disapprove thing. Definitely bring it back sometime. I think I agree with all your sentiments. The Departed was very good. Quite entertaining. Other than the length, I felt that dingbat therapist was the worst thing about the movie. Oh and John Legend…that’s my hubby (unbeknowst to my fiance…or John). Ordinary People is still the best joint John has made thus far, but I do agree that the new album is overall better than the first.
