Clyde, Guns, Alison and Mood Music

This entry is going to be all over the place, so I’m going to make it easy on you readers and separate it into four parts.

Part 1: The Handgun Ban in DC

I stopped MSNBC’s site a little while ago, while searching for info on the topic for Part 3, when I saw that a federal appeals court overturned DC’s handgun ban. I don’t know how I feel about this one right here. On one hand, it sucks, because that means there will be way more guns on the street without the looming threat of an automatic 5 years just for posession. On the other, plenty of criminals were already carrying, so at least if I get a permit and hit the range, if a fool tries to rob me, I can lay him down if I catch him slipping. Then again, that’s still not a likely or desirable scenario. The most likely thing to come from this ruling will be more murders in the city and surrounding areas.

Part 2: Clyde Drexler May Very Well Be Count Blackula

My friend Hassan pointed out that Clyde The Glyde Drexler has barely seemed to age over the 20-plus years that he’s been famous. I mean, he started going bald early, but once he shaved his head, it was over. If he were to someday reveal himself to be a vampire, I would not be suprised. From dunking on people with reckless abandon in his playing days, to gliding across the ballroom floor this upcoming season of “Dancing With The Stars”, Clide is still going strong. I mean, look at what this man used to do to people! He looks like Snoop Dogg’s lesser known uncle that works security at the mall, but don’t let that mild-mannered appearance fool you. You did not want to be standing near the basket when Clyde was coming down the lane. That’s just asking to be embarassed.

Part Three: Ann Curry’s Spot As My Newswoman Crush Is In Jeopardy

Lately, I’ve had a thing for Alison Stewart of MSNBC. I remember her from MTV back in the day, but she’s looking good to me these days. It’s funny, because she reminds me of what Kirstie Alley would look like if she were a black woman. Kirstie is not on Alison’s level though. I have a thing for intelligent women with pretty smiles, so be warned Ann Curry: Alison may be taking your spot!

Part Four: Next Time You Have Sex, Visit ListenToLeon.blogspot.com

That’s right, visit this site right here. I made another Finetune playlist, this one is titled “Dry Humpin’ On Yo Momma’s Couch.” It’s a collection of slow music made to help set a mellow, relaxing mood…and to stimulate arousal in the loins of listeners. Take a listen, and if you want, save the link:

http://www.finetune.com/playlist/1387477

Just like The Official ListenToLeon Soundtrack, this playlist is incredible, and will be constantly changing. So if you’re thinking about getting some lovin’ tonight, click on it and you’re set for the next few hours. Drawls will be dropped to this playlist. Illegitimate children will be concieved. Backs will be blown out. If you see women getting into cabs around noon tomorrow in club attire, odds are, they’re taking that “Walk of Shame” thanks to someone using this playlist. It’s that powerful!

Don’t say I never gave y’all anything. Have a great weekend, and use the playlist wisely!

Sheeyit Leon, where you been? Alison Stewart has been jack material for almost a decade. I remember watching her at O-dark 30 in the morning when she anchored ABC News Overnight, and I’m unable to sleep, ready to explode. Her and Asha Blake could get it 24-7-365.

Confession: I went to Virgin MegaStore and puchased the following CDs…

    Incognito…Bee+Things+Flowers
Dr Dre…The Chronic (only 10 bucks)
    Phil Collins…Greatest Hits…

Why? Thanks to Leon! I always liked that song but never knew the artist….but when I heard it on your music playlist I got geeked out…yay!

    Lonliness is a killer.

Leon, you are right. Allison Stewart was from MTV News WAAAAAYYYY back in the mid-90′s. She looked a bit petite and skinny back then so I dont know about the Kirstie Alley parallel but if she did put some meat on those I sure wont be mad at her.

@ Leon, yeah, she’s been hot for a minute now. I need to Google this Asha Blake you speak of!

@ Anonymous, good stuff. Glad I could help out your music collection. It’s about time for me to change up the playlists a bit.

@ Greg, I see I’m not the only alison admirer! My readers have good taste!

@ Anonymous, I was about to apologize for slapping you, but since you loved it, I guess I’ll say…you’re welcome?

@ Anonymous, yeah, I knew it. That video is hilarious. They looked like they were having a great time. I’m mad Phil was in the chair with the stylist giving his comb-over a touch up!

    Thank you @ Lola
