Yeah…I said it! NPR is allowing me to express my views LIVE, ON-AIR, in front of a nationwide audience! I plan to behave myself, but as you all know, sometimes things don’t always go as planned when it comes to my life. Last week’s Snaggle Toothed Sammy incident is evidence of that. As long as there are no confrontational toothless crackheads in the studio, I should be fine.
Here is the show schedule:
DC/Baltimore area stations and times:
- WAMU-FM: 88.5-3 HD at 9:00 PM
- WEAA-FM: 88.9 at 5:00 PM
- WYPR-FM: 88.1 at 8:00 PM
Or you can try listening to it online at the News & Notes website.
For you readers in the rest of the US, check www.NPR.org to find out what time and station will be airing tomorrow’s episode of News & Notes if you would like to take a listen.
I want to say something funny in here, but I’m saving my humor for tomorrow. I don’t want to go on the air recycling the same stuff from today. Actually, let me stop faking. I’m just sleepy right now, so I don’t feel like making any jokes. If you want to laugh RIGHT NOW, look through the archives. I’m sure there is something there to entertain you. Otherwise, have a Coke and a smile, then wait until tomorrow when you will have the chance to actually LISTEN to Leon!

Can we listen online? I am not sure I’ll be by a radio at that time. I’d hate to miss it though.
I think so @ Hostess. Go to the “News And Notes” page on http://www.npr.org and it has a button that says “listen to today’s show” or something along those lines. I haven’t tried it out yet, but I think it should work. I’m going to the studio at 1PM tomorrow, so anytime after that, try checking for my segment.
you are soooo on my calender!! congrats

Congrats. Hope it goes well.
You think you big time…
well if I can I’ll tune in ..I can always use a good laugh on a wed.
Good Luck. Make sure you keep it cool, we don’t want Farai caught up in some Don Imus stuff.
Congrats, Leon! Too bad I live in Miami :( I’d so tune in if it was in my area.
@ Krazy and Doc, you might be able to hear it online at NPR.org. Give it a try
@ Markus, I already had to scratch an Isiah Thomas joke because it might offend some people!
@ Leon, Suicide, Hostess, and Januari, thank you :)
