Allow Me To Re-Introduce Myself

Good afternoon everybody,

Today, I feel like I should greet all the people who are new to my site, who may have found it through that Washington Post article. To all you new readers, hello! My name is Leon, also known as Hustleman. Also known as Cool Breeze. It all depends on who you ask, and at what time.

All you really need to know is that I talk a lot of trash, but I keep it funny. If you have a pulse, then you will laugh at some point in your visit here. Hell, even if you DON’T have a pulse, stories like the one where I got dry-humped on the Green Line are funny enough to temporarily wake the dead and make them laugh out loud one last time. Yes, my stuff is Lazarus strong!

Oh yeah, if you liked the “Kiss Me I’m Black” shirt that I wore in the picture, you can buy one HERE. Ladies, I’ve got you covered, too!

Now that I’m done cross-promoting my merchandise, let me also make you new readers aware of my updated Greatest Hits section. There, you will get a chance to read some of my most popular entries, which I’m fairly confident you’ll enjoy. Even my die-hard longtime readers should enjoy the section, because it’s better than ever and includes some gems that even I forgot about!

Now that I’ve introduced myself, I’d love it if you new readers would leave a comment and say hello. Also, I want some opinions from my current audience on the choices I made for the Greatest Hits section. Let me know if I left anything out, or if you think that I should replace some of my choices with other ones.

  2. I’m not a new reader, but I thought I’d say hello nonetheless.

    So, um, hello. :)

  3. Hello FunkyBrownChick! How was your weekend?

By Hustleman on Nov 4, 2007

  4. I feel like I fall somewhere in the middle. I’m not a newbie, but I haven’t been here long enough to critique your “Greatest Hits” section…have to find some time to get acquainted with the site more.

Anywhoo…hope you enjoyed your weekend. Mine was good, but today is sucking big time because I’m tired!

  5. PS: The dry hump story is hilarious! I hate when this happens to me though. Usually when someone gets a li’l too close to the boo-tay on the train, I have to “accidentally” elbow them in the chest and “accidentally” step on their foot.

  6. Leon–sawthe article and congratz. But think of the irony–everyone, especially you young’ins, say that the print media (and good writing and the King’s English) are dead and buried. Yet it’s the newspapers which have spotlighted many bloggers and pushed folks into other media like radio and TV.

  7. Hey Hustleman. Is the Supahead article still around? The one where you added the “missing” chapters. That was the first article I read on here. Truly hilarious. I was looking for it to show my dad, but couldn’t find it. Yeah, he’s a fan too. See, you’re crossing generations…

  8. Props on the Washington Post article. Read the joint the other day.

LOL at Dry-Humped On The Green Line. I have to read that shit again…lol

  9. Sort of like a newbie, I guess; only been around for a couple of months.

So dry-humped on the train, huh? Damn, I didn’t think anything would top the Manscaping post you sent me, but I stand corrected… now I’m gonna put aside my entire Thursday night, the night I usually comb YouTube for stupidity, ghetto-ness and ridiculous antics caught on tape, to reading your greatest hits! LOL

  10. Opinionated Diva, I feel you. I’m glad I’m not a woman. That “accidental” train grope has to be annoying!

@ Crhistoper Chambers, great point. I don’t think print media is dead at all. I do think it’s at a crucial turning point, and it’s survival of the fittest right now. The ones who accept and embrace the changes brought forth from technology and digital media will survive and thrive. The ones who can’t or won’t adapt will be left behind. It’s the same as everything else in nature. Thanks for commenting!

@ Marleaux, I did a search for “Supahead” and it only came up with two entries:

I know I made jokes about her more times than that, so I’ll keep looking for you. Thanks for getting your dad to read the site.

@ Big Homie, I appreciate it. Thank YOU for not making fun of my big-ass laptop computer! I need to get a new onw for Christmas or something. I look like I’m holding up a Playstation in that photo!

@ TQB, you’ve been devoted, and I love that. Plus, you’re cute, so please…do continue to stick around and visit the site ;)

  14. hey leon,

i’m a new reader. i saw you in sunday source and thought “hmm, maybe i’ll check out this crazy new blog thing…”. hustleman you are funny as all get out. the line about ‘lazarus strong’ should also be on a tshirt.

i used to live on the green line, way before it got gentrified with overpriced condos and vegan bakeies, but i have never read anything as funny as your greenline story.
