I have a slight headache that has bothered me for awhile now. It started when I woke up yesterday morning, after only getting less than 4 hours’ sleep. My plan was to go to bed a little earlier last night, but hours passed, I started watching “The Best Man” on cable, and next thing you know, it was almost 3 AM! Maybe a nap is what I need right now.
What I am experiencing is not like a normal headache. It’s less severe, and only irritating in one place: my eyes. It feels like a couple of Smurfs crawled in my head, and got into a streetfight. More specifically, it feels like that strong Smurf with the tattoo, Hefty Smurf, is using the back of my eyes as speed bags. Or maybe, Go-Go Smurf is in there playing the congas on my eyes. I sincerely hope it’s not Go-Go Smurf, because if so, the other Smurfs at the party are gonna start beatin’ their feet once that beat gets to crankin’, then a fight is going to break out. Eventually, a couple of them are gonna get shot in the parking lot. That means I’ll have a headache, and two dead Smurfs in my head.
I’m going to take a nap, but if my headache persists, I’m going to beat the hell out of each and every last one of them. I don’t even need to call Gargamel. I’ll stomp a mudhole in their little blue asses, then walk it dry by my damned self!
Yeah…Laugh now…but you better take your stankin’ ass back to your little mushroom house before I wake up, or it’s gonna be a misunderstanding up in here! I will beat the blue off you!

Ugh, so sorry. I have had a horrible consistent migraine for a week now…even rx meds have not completely rid me of it. Yours sounds like a possible migraine or sinus headache. Take meds. Lots of meds. :) And lots of water. Feel better!

@ Kassy and Bre, thanks. I feel a lot better after my nap. I’m going to take some Airbourne and keep my eyes open, because I have been doing a little bit of sniffling today. It could be sinuses or something since it got cold again recently.

The Smurfs have a lot of frustration to let out. There is only one female and she ain’t never talking about nothing.
If you wake and still have a headache, make an appointment to see a doctor. Even if it goes away by the time you get to SEE the doctor, still go. Trust me on this. I had a headache on and off for more than a decade–yeah, I said decade. It wasn’t until THIS year that a doctor finally stumbled on the root cause–and it had nothing to do with my head.
