Pray For Sean Taylor

I know I usually put jokes and stuff on here, but I want to be serious for a moment and ask everyone to keep the Washington Redskins’ Sean Taylor in your thoughts and prayers. He was shot at his home in a possible armed robbery attempt, and is now in a coma. I feel bad because he’s my favorite player in the NFL, but I feel even worse since this is a 24 year old man with an infant daughter, fighting for his life.

Sorry to end the day on a sad note, but I felt the need to write about the story since it got me down on what was otherwise a great day for me personally. I’m truly hoping that he pulls though.

      I heard about this. There’s something fishy about how he was shot. Still…my heart goes out to him and his family. I hope he pulls through.

      Leon – he is definitely in my thoughts and prayers. The crazy thing is, a lot of things I’ve been reading have been alluding to his girl shooting him. It’ll be interesting to see what comes out of this. Apparently, he’s been robbed before at this same house. Makes you wonder why a multi-millionaire athlete doesn’t have a security system in place. In any event, it’s a sad story.

      The tragedy of this transcends words. His daughter will never get know her daddy. Children definitely need the father figure in their lives. The information put forth in the media has indicated that this was a deliberate attack as the phone lines to the house were cut.

      damn that is messed up i feel bad for the rest of the family but mostly for the child. hopefully justice will be served shortly and if the girlfren did do it she’ll burn in hell. RIP Dean Taylor.

      RIP Sean, its really sad that he passed away. I thought he was going to make it through! I guess theres more to a blood transfusion than I thought… did they even try that? Anyways :( My bf and him grew up together, :( I feel so bad for his family.
