Get Well Soon Nate Dogg

Last week, I read that Nate Dogg suffered a stroke, which has left him paralyzed on half of his body. Doctors have no idea about his long-term prognosis, but say that there is hope for a full recovery.  Whatever the case, I just want to send some prayers and well wishes his way.

In recent years, Akon and T-Pain have kind of cornered the market on ignorant, yet very catchy rap song hooks. That said, nobody did it like Nate Dogg! Let me end this with a throwback clip of Nate doing his thing. This was my unofficial theme song a couple of years ago:

Akon and T-Pain are total lightweights! Nate Dogg’s bass brought gravity to whatever he was doing…

Man for real, I’m sorry but I don’t feel bad for half of these dudes that basically do shit to fuck themselves up. Hear me out for a sec. I’m sorry but there is a reason why you’re not supposed to drink large amount of NyQuil mixed with any alcohol (Pimp C). I’m also sure smoking chronic mixed with different drugs and pesticides for more than a decade will also have some MAJOR bad impact on your health. Shit might look cool in rap videos but truth is there is a reason why there are warning labels on that shit.

Same goes with anyone that abuses steroids

@ VK, that’s a good point. All that stuff does eventually catch up to people who abuse it.

@ Zen, I agree…although I find myself singing along to way too much stuff by Akon and T-Pain to not at least mention them here

Not a Nate Dogg fan, but sorry to hear about his condition.

Virgle Kent, Pimp C did not drink NyQuil. He was drinking sizzurp, which is codeine and promethazine syrup. The only reason it killed him is because he had sleep apnea, so the respiratory depression from the codeine and the fact that he wasn’t breathing from the apnea killed him. Sizzurp is safe as long as the user is carefull, so I encourage everyone to sip on some lean. R.I.P. DJ Screw, Big Moe, Pimp C.

I hope Nate fully recovers. My grandpa had a stroke in 2006 or early ’07 and he’s still not doing that great, so strokes are some bad shit.
