Once Again The Leon Influence Is Felt

First things first…I want to thank The Washington Post Express newspaper for quoting me in the Blog Log section once again. I always grab at least 5 copies every time they quote me, but I think I need to come up with a new strategy. It’s becoming a fire hazard, since I’m in there so much. You can find me in Express about as often as Sam Malone and Norm Peterson can be found at the bar at Cheers.

“Makin’ your way in the world today, takes every-thing ya GOT,
Runnin’ away from your own worries, sure would help a LOT,
Wouldn’t you like to get awaaaaaaaaay…
*piano*
Sometimes you wanna GO, where EV-RE-BO-DY KNOWS YOUR NA-A-AME,
And they’re ALL-WAYS GLAD YOU CA-A-AME,
You wanna be where you can see,
Troubles are all the saaame,
You wanna BE, WHERE EVERYBODY KNOOOWS YOUR NAME”

*piano*

Go ahead and sing along. You know you want to! The Cheers theme song goes in the Guilty Pleasure Theme Song Hall Of Fame, along with the old Scooby Doo one, Get A Life, Married With Children, The Monkees, The Jeffersons, Amen(yep, TWO Sherman Helmsley shows) Diff’rent Strokes(Alan Thicke > YOU), The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Sanford & Son and All In The Family. Feel free to add your additions to the Hall of Fame in the comments section.

Now, back to what I originally intended to write today, two very lovely friends of mine have been making major moves lately. I am pleased to announce that Lizz Robbins has been added to the King-Mag.com family of columnists. Her column, Robbins’ Nest, offers insight into her experiences as the Remy Martin spokesmodel and a former King Magazine Web Girl of the Year. Lizz is perfect for this, because she is intelligent, down-to-Earth, and very engaging. Not to mention, easy on the eyes…

You can click the photo to check out Robbins’ Nest, or click here to pay Lizz a visit.

My friend Noree Victoria has also begun writing her own blog/column at AllHipHop.com, chronicling her experiences as she travels coast-to-coast, chasing her dream as an actress. Once again, this is another very intelligent, driven, hard-working and creative young lady…Who is equally easy on the eyes!

You can visit Noree’s column, I’m An Actress: Share My World, by going here, or by clicking on the above photo.

Let me end today’s entry full of randomness by saying that I’m finally getting over the fact that Kim Kardashian had sex with Ray J. and my swagger’s #1 arch-nemesis, Reggie Bush, instead of me. I hereby proclaim that once the rest of the world finally recognizes me as THAT DUDE, I am going to give this woman all kinds of sexual pleasure she’s never even imagined.

I watched this clip from her show, and started INVENTING sex positions for her. What’chu know about that Crouching Tiger, Hidden G-Spot with the Cobra Clutch position? Or the Stevie Wonder Can See I’m A Bad Motherf*cker stroke? That’s what I thought. Kim K, you better start stretching, RIGHT NOW!

Leon you put Diff’rent Strokes(Alan Thicke) but Alan Thick was on growing pains with Leonardo Difaggio. Just helping you get your songs straight. And you left off the “coldest” sitcom intro Sanford and Son.

    Brem out!!!

  5. Hustleman 30. Jan, 2008 at 6:24 pm #

@ Brem, Sanford and Son is up there. right after The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. I mentioned Alan Thicke because he wrote and sang the theme to Diff’rent Strokes.

@ Sassygyrl, Good Times was hard to leave off. I just got tired of looking up stuff on Youtube…lol

@ Passion and Wonderlove, my wang is so formidable, it leads the wa on it’s own. No need for any help from my eyes!
