I was watching the news yesterday, and they briefly mentioned a story about a 10 year old girl in Tennessee who ran away from home and attempted to rob a gas station, armed with nothing but rocks. I could not contain my laughter. Here are the thoughts that ran through my mind, in the order that they arose:
Thought 1: Wow. Concrete proof that the nations schools are failing the kids, because this is about as stupid as it gets! I don’t care if she were only 8 years old…She should know better.
Thought 2: I wonder if the cashier even thought about reaching for his gun, or was he too busy laughing? I personally would have threatened to take off my belt and whup her ass, right there in the parking lot. Then call her mom and the police.
Thought 3: If a 10 year old were to try to rob me with some rocks, I’d probably just step on her. Or tell him Santa Claus isn’t real and make her cry.
Thought 4: I wonder if they’re gonna send her to juvenile hall? If so, I guess she might be able to hold her own. I mean, she had the balls to try and rob a grown man who more than likely has a gun under the counter with a handful of rocks!
Thought 5: I’m having way too many thoughts about this silly-assed news story.
that’s how we roll in Tennessee… it’s strickly thuggin’. we go hard. lol. my mom told me about this story, I could not stop laughing… bad ass little girl.
This shyt happened in Franklin, TN, which is a upper-middle class suburb of Nashville (it would be the equivalent of say, Reston or McLean for the DC Readers), and I think this was a little white girl. If this was a black girl or a boy, that girl would’ve been UNDER the jail. Trust, this is Tennessee we’re talmbout.
This reminded me of a stand up comedian who said Jamaicans are so crazy they could rob a bank with rocks and get away with it. I wish I could remember the name or find the routine on YouTube.
hahahaha. if i knew that child i would IMMEDIATELY suggest taking her to a jail so if she was gonna be a criminal she could do it the right way… rocks!? DON’T GO OUT LIKE THAT!! lol.
LOL!! yea she is a DUMDUM! this happened in TN though…i wouldn’t be surprised if the cashier took out his gun!

If she was my child, I would of kicked her bad ass right on camera. Whooped her with the buckle, holding one arm up, you know- so they can do that little circle dance trying to avoid the hit and screaming. ROTF!!!
