What’s up people,
I’ve been thinking about adding more writers and contributors to www.listentoleon.net for awhile, but since things have been particularly busy for me lately, I never really got around to following through. I know this site was founded off the strength of my voice, and my humorous observations on life. That said, writing new content every day can be challenging at times. Especially when I’ve had a horrible day. The way yesterday ended for me, I really doubt that I’m going to be able to sit here and write anything funny for awhile. At least until I start feeling like my usual self again.
That said, I have been wanting to add more content to this site, and I don’t want it to depend on how often inspiration hits me personally. This probably is not the best way to do it, but since I’ve always gone straight to you readers for feedback and help, I’m going to once again directly reach out in your direction.

I can’t afford to pay anyone Gawker money or anything like that, but I will do what I can. Trust me, there are plenty of perks to be enjoyed from writing for this site. You’ve all read the stories and seen the photos…The party never stops!

Well, since you can’t pay me maybe we can come to some sort of compromise.
I mean, being a married man I can’t truly reap the benefits of kickin’ it with you on the circuit. The ladies always flock to you. But if I end up partying with you one night, there might be chalk lines on the scene the next day courtesy of my wife.
We can always hit the b-ball courts again and hoop it up some more. Last Spring we were ballin’. But I can’t have you on my squad this Spring with the 1986 Kenny ‘Sky’ Walker Nike Dunks being held together by Shoe Goo.
Maybe you can get me in one of those CW commercials or somethin’??? Better yet, find a way to get ya boy in that next Chuck Brown DC Lotto Rollin’ Cash 5 joint and you got a deal.

I actually am talking about paying contributors though. Only problem is, it won’t be much. Enough to get some cheese on a Whopper or something, but by no means should any contributors quit their day jobs!
