Tagged Like A Wild Buffalo

I usually find a way to conveniently ignore it when people send me what is in essencethe blog equivalent of a chain-letter. You know…those comments where you get “tagged” into writing about whatever the person that left the comment wrote about. This time, I decided to take part out of respect for the folks who tagged me: The Chronicles of Leon and My Life in Chocolate City.
The rules are as follows:
- Link the person who tagged you.
- Mention the rules in your blog.
- Tell about 6 unspectacular quirks of yours.
- Tag 6 following bloggers by linking them.
- Leave a comment on each of the tagged blogger’s blogs letting them know they’ve been tagged.
6 unspectacular quirks. It’s going to be hard to think of 6 that I haven’t already written about in some form or another, but here’s my attempt:
- I talk fast. In my mind, I just think the rest of y’all listen slow…But since we’re living in reality and not Leon’s mental utopia, I’ll just accept the fact that I am a fast-talker.
- My biggest fear right now is not living up to my potential. I can’t go back to broke…So if you’re wondering why I’m kind of laying low these days, it’s because I’m busting my chops working on achieving greatness.
- I have ADHD. No joke. Like, actually diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. So if I’ve ever forgotten to do something that I said I would, forgive a brother. That, or build a bridge and get the f*ck over it.
- I don’t like talking about number 3 too much, so if you have questions, go to the library or do a Google search. There’s a search button on my site somewhere. Or at least there will be by the end of the weekend. Oh yeah, don’t ask me to get you any drugs, either. I am not Rayful Edmonds, Nino Brown, Marlo Stansfield, Tony Montana, Frank Lucas or Big Worm, for that matter. Fake it and get your own prescription medicine.
- I am competitive, which is good and bad. As I’ve grown older, I learned that trying to keep up with the Jones is some bullsh*t that’ll drive a person to insanity. Just worry about being happy. That said, if someone is better than me at something that I like doing, I will work relentlessly until I get to their level, or beyond it.
- I buy books and magazines a lot, but I rarely take the time to read them completely. I’m getting better with it, but I’m still a half-assed book reader.

Mo, I think my cousin is graduating from Davidson University that weekend, so I might not be able to play in the game…I’ll know for certain about that weekend this evening when I give him a call.
