…than most people are even capable of thinking of!
It’s a fact. I had a brilliant post in mind for today, but I didn’t write anything down about it, or type out a draft version in WordPress. So as a result, I’ve been driving myself crazy all-day long, trying to remember the finer joke points of what I planned on writing. The worst part about it is that I have reserve blog entries already written, but I refused to post any today since I have been dead-set on remembering what I thought about last night.
I don’t like carrying around a pen and pad, but moments like these make me realize that I really should write down an idea when it comes to me. Who knows? I could have come up with something that was so powerful, that it could change the way people live. Then again, if it were that profound, I would have probably remembered it. I’m sure it was something silly, like a dissertation on how Eggo Waffles could quite concievably bring about world peace if properly prepared and distributed. Either way, if you see me out and about and I’m writing down something other than a pretty lady’s phone number, that means inspiration has just hit!

Yes, please carry a notepad around, bruh- you have an audience to think about… what if that particular nugget of wisdom was the missing piece in my quest for answers to the mysteries of life? Thanks for nothing Leon! Now I gotta go hit the bottle and drown my sorrows :(
lol
i wish inspiration could give you n uppercut of wisdom right now lol
I just got a new cell, and apparently it has a feature that acts like a digital recorder, so one can record ones thoughts as one has them. I havent figured out how to use it yet…but you should think about getting something like that!
:)

I feel you Leon, I’m always forgetting blogs that I think are so profound while I am thinking them. Just the other day I had this great one while I was at the dentist getting a crown. I mean I was like I’m so writing this when I get home, then poof the idea and everything surrounding it was gone. I blame it on the Nitrous. That laughing gas gets you e’rry time!
Seriously I thought about writing down ideas and the digital recording thing on my Treo, but it looses some organic-ness, to me. I am however planning on journaling again you know for the stuff too raw to be blog with out rework and therapy! *lol*

Get a PDA or iPhone. I know that’s a mad expensive “pen and paper” but that’s what I use. Cause I too forget things WAAYYYY too easily these days. And I most often think of these things when I’m driving. I’d forget them in the time it takes me to walk from my car to the front door. So, having a note pad on my phone is a lovely thing. Also, if you don’t want to do that, just send it to yourself in a text message. That’s what I used to so.
used to do… sorry. I’m Johnny Typo tonight.
What is this “paper” of which you speak? Yeah, the digital recorder–either built into your phone/pda/i-whatever–is the way to go. I keep my digital video camera and digital voice recorder in the seat next to me when I’m driving. You never know when you’ll come across that million dollar footage (like around here–our nation’s capital–I keep waiting for one of the stealth thingys to drop outta the sky on the way to Andrews AFB) or suddenly come up with a brilliant plan to bring Bin Laden out of hiding.
Plus I’m old and convinced that I have pre-Alzheimer’s.
damn homie it happens to the best of us.
