How Was Your Weekend?

This site is called “Listen To Leon” for a reason. That reason, is because I am what some might descibe as a selfish jackass. In order to break my cycle of jackassedness, I want to know how your weekend went. On Mondays, I usually tell folks about stuff going on in my life, or make fun of some silly observation that came to my attention over the previous few days. This time, I’ll allow my readers to bask in the spotlight.

…For the people who are too lazy to type their own weekend stories, or did things so unspeakable that they need not be captured in print, here is my weekend recap:

  • Started off the Miss Fine Sh*terature competition over at King-Mag.com
  • Posed for family pictures with a 5:00 shadow, circa Don Johnson in his Miami Vice days.
  • Helped throw a suprise party for my stepfather.
  • Worked on some comedic projects that are coming soon.
  • Watched a movie that I’ll be reviewing later today or tomorrow.
  • Overheard some drunk chick bragging about how Supahead has nothing on her skills…Then saw her instantly become the most popular person in the room.
  • Watched the game and fell asleep

There you go. Now, tell me about your weekend…

-Learned that 3 days over 90 in Boston is considered a heat wave. (In the H that’s called 3 days of the week. I guess I grew up in one continuous heat wave)
-Bought the LAST AC at Target!
-Found another part of Boston with Black people!!
    -Assembled a fan
    -Went grocery shopping
-Introduced another man to Grandma’s Boy (it’s one of my life’s missions)
    -Watched the game
-Thought about going out near the Garden after the game to see if I could see KG or Ray Allen (an perhaps convince them to fulfill all my dreams)
-Decided made more sense to take my old black azz to bed
    -Unmentionable stuff

Wow that was fun. Thanks for letting us share our business on YOUR blog!

    Christened my godson Christopher.

Drove back home to MD. Now im tired….

Saturday I drove Mr. & Mrs. Daisy around in the African-like sun. Went home, bathed again, and passed out on the couch.

Didn’t dare leave the house on Sunday.

Details at my site…still too weak to type…gotta go throw up now.

    - aint do nothin’ on Saturday but lounge around the house… it was too damn hot!

    - flew to Boston yesterday for Game 2 of the NBA Finals

    - walked around hot azz Boston in search of a Black person… I think I saw 8 total in the city, not including those who attended the game

    - got interviewed by ABC6 in Boston about my take on Paul Pierce playing on a hurt knee

    - went to the game with my Laker partners who are still salty over the loss. During the game I antagonized them incessantly by hollering and doing a dance every time the Celtics scored a big basket. These dances included the Cabbage Patch, the Hee Haw, the Running Man and the ‘Raj’ from What’s Happening.

    - flew back to DC this morning

    - aint been to sleep since I dunno

-Braided Hair for 8 hours straight

@ G-Mo I have been in this city for almost three months and I swear it took me a good 6 weeks of true searching to find the black people and where they are, you know the ones I didn’t already know.

The black people of Boston do want me to tell G-Mo and the rest of the black folks in America. Yes they are there, mother Moses bought plenty of them there, not to mention I am sure Crispus had some kids I’m sure, brother Malcolm spent some time there too (but that was to white girl chase) and sure there are a few are passing because they’re light, bright and damn near white like Dubois but THERE ARE BLACK PEOPLE IN DA’BEAN. Most are in three parts of the city and many are no where near the 600 plus dollar seats one has to spend to go to see the Celtics in the playoffs! *lol*.

I must say as a visiting Southern girl they do have some crazy mixed up views on race and stuff which coming from a girl from Texas says A LOT! But I digress, now that I have made the there are black people in Boston announcement I will return you all back to Leon and his regular blog!

Yeah I’ve seen women claim to be superior to SuperHead in public, and oddly enough, they ALWAYS become the most popular person in the room shortly there after. I think it has something to do with every man’s secret desire to experience head from the Super one, with a fraction of the imminent disease infestation.
