Sometimes, it pays to be a world-renowned trash-talker. Lizz Robbins, former King Magazine Web Girl of the Year(and fellow columnist on King-mag.com) who happens to be the model featured in my absolute favorite photo of all time, put me on to an outstanding hook-up tonight. Lizz is also the official Remy Martin spokesmodel, and she invited me to the Washington, DC gala to premiere the new Remy bottle designed by acclaimed photographer and filmmaker David LaChapelle. Beneath, is a photodocumentary of the night’s action:
I started the night off in low-key fashion. Yes, there really are dancing Cheetah Girls behind me.

This is what the David LaChapelle package design looks like…which sort of explains the presence of women in cheetah bodypaint. Not that you ever really need to validate having dancing models in bodypaint at your event. I think I’m going to have some at my wedding one day…

Next, I went in to get a closer look(at the bottle, and Miss Cheetara from Thundercats)

She was really cool, and amazingly friendly despite the fact that she had no idea that her assignment that night was to dance in a bikini with cheetah paint all over her body.

After my beautiful Thundercat encounter, I walked over and posed for a photo with Lashayla Logan of Skyhy Consultants

When you’re drinking free Remy, it doesn’t take much encouragement for me to start acting silly, as Lizz soon found out. Shameless self-promotion time began.

This led to more fun with bodypainted models. The lady on the left has one of the coolest names I’ve heard in a long time. I remember it, but I am not even going to attempt to spell it here. I already know that I’ll screw it up.

After leaving the Remy event, I decided that I may as well have a little more fun while I still had my free liquor buzz. I ended up at karaoke, where the lady on the right was celebrating her birthday.

The Birthday Girl asked me to dedicate a song to her and I accommodated her request. She had no idea…

It was a great night, so let’s end this thing with one more smirk of outright defiance!

I’d get a bottle just for the artwork alone. Lizz looks hot on it.
You are HILAROUS with your shameless self promotion all over DC. I ain’t madatcha though. Just wish I could have been around to get that Remy! and that 1500…
I don’t even have to look at the pics to tell if you had fun. Dancing Cheetah girls? That’s awesome man! That model in the pic was exuding such raw sexual energy from her eyes that it made my eyes water.
*makes a note to come back to DC asap*
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan… you’re livin’ the life!!!!
You are crazy! Look like you had a lot of fun. And the bottle artwork is crazy. I like it. What song did you dedicate to her?
Were you singing Ginuwine’s Pony? hahaha
I’m mad at that pic of you violating the mic stand… you’re right- that bday DID’T know. Bet she does now!! LOL
Hey Leon,
I’m so glad you made it out. You are so much fun and such a sweetie!!! I wish you continued success and thank you so much for all the support!!!! God Bless!
*I thought one of those Cheetahs was going to attack you LOL
@ Lizz, Thank you for everything. Had those cheetahs attacked, I would have found a way to make them purr like house kittens ;)
@ The Jaded NYer, I gave her something to dream about…or have nightmares! LOL
@ Monica and MissJay, I was singing “Let Me Love You Down” by Ready For The World
@G.Mo, not yet, but I’ll get there eventually. I DO know that we’ll BOTH be living the life, once we start working on the projects we talked about at Fridays.
@ Leon, you’re right. I was invited by a beautiful model, only to get there and encounter more beautiful models!
