All throughout my inbox today, people have been sending me links to Raheem Devaughn‘s latest video, Text Messages. After receiving it for the 4th time, via a MySpace bulletin from Big Homie, I decided to go ahead and post it here.
Besides, I’m just glad that Raheem’s record company is finally putting the proper resources behind him to give his Love Behind The Melody album that extra push. The music is good enough to speak for itself, but it’s kind of frustrating when good stuff gets skipped over in favor of greasy, shirtless homo-erotic R&B(rap and bullsh*t) like this right here. Although in it’s defense, I used to LOVE the original version of this little nasty-ass ditty!
Oh yeah, this song also made me look through my phone, only to come to this sad realization: Unless some mystical, magical Vagina Fairy pays me a suprise visit tonight, all of my text messages(but you can call them sex messages) will be wasted efforts. No trim for The Kid, even though I have unlimited texts and could theoretically type them until someone says “yes” or my fingers fall off…Whichever happens first. I’ve been working so hard lately, that I’ve all but killed off any potential options for sweet, sweet lovin’ in the mid-nite hour. So uh…ladies, if you get a Text/Sex message from me later on, just know that I’m only being funny.
That is, unless you’re double jointed and ridiculously flexible.
Or you have no gag reflex.
