I try to play fair over here at ListenToLeon.net. I mean, we all know that this site is a dictatorship, ruled by yours truly with an iron fist. Despite the fact that this is my site, and my power is only limited by national and international law, I try my best to be a kind and benevolent ruler over this trash talk empire that I’ve built. Especially when it comes to allowing people to post just about anything within reason in the comments section without fear of reprisal. However, sometimes folks abuse their comment section freedom, which forces me to transition from running this place with the wisdom of King Solomon, to channeling the wrath of Vlad the Impaler. Just yesterday, I had to chop off a commenter’s head and put on a stick. Now I’m posting it here at the kingdom gates as a warning to all other simpletons in cyberspace.
In an older entry entitled Stereotypes Ruined My Lunch, some guy commented about 18 different times with fake names, spewing all kinds of racist nonsense with screennames like “WHITEPOWER,” “Nigra Lyncher,” “Ihateblacks,” “Tyrone Lawrence,” “Tupac” and my personal favorite, “n1gg3rstolemybike.” I would have left it alone, had he just left one or two comments, but 18?! I decided to have some fun with the guy, by calling out the fact that he was pathetic enough to write 18 different comments under assumed aliases, but lazy enough to do it from the same IP and email address. He initially tried to deny it, then wrote some more foolishness. Once I made a joke about banning him, he tried to justify his actions. Here’s the last comment that he left, and the e-mail I sent in response:

Its amazing how brave and bold people are when they can hide behind a screen name on the Internet. In reality, these people don’t want any problems with anyone…
