First off, I have to say that Hamlet 2 was a really funny movie. A little weird and very silly, but funny pretty much all the way through. The premise of a failed actor/disgraced drama teacher attempting to write a sequel to quite possibly the most famous play of all time is funny in itself. However, the end result is a marvel, in most crap-tacular fashion.
I stopped by my old friend Henry Brown’s MySpace page earlier this morning, and cracked up laughing at the sequel he and some other folks from Fredericksburg, VA created. If folks in Hollywood could make Hamlet 2, then why not this?
Well, I guess the fact that Ray Charles is dead might make a few people angry if this were to actually become a feature film. As far as internet clips go, it’s definitely quality stuff, so they chose the right place for such a production.
I am also glad that Henry is still doing his thing with the comedy. He consistently had people cracking up laughing in the high school days with his antics. I remember once, this girl at our school with a horrible lisp choked Henry out because he kept saying “Sufferin’ Succotash” to her. I laugh every time I think back to the things he used to say and do back then. Keep the laughs coming, Henry!

that is so wrong…but so funny at the same time…justice is blind..lol!
pamoja!!!
I’m gonna see it next week and now I’m looking forward to it if it has the Leon stamp of approval.
