Free Stuff: The Raphael Saadiq Edition

My friend Qool DJ Uncle Q put together this Raphael Saadiq mixtape, and I must say, it’s officially official.

DOWNLOAD IT. You will be very happy that you did.

Last week, I gave y’all Travis Barker and DJ AM to appeal to the folks with both Hip-Hop and rock sensibilities. This time, I’m coming with straight SOUL! If you see a music download link here, it’s probably left of center…That said, it’s ALWAYS QUALITY STUFF! No albums with 1 or 2 good tracks, and 8 or 9 more garbage ones will ever be placed here. I don’t pass along crap. Trust me, I’ve had to tell people “No, your sh*t isn’t good enough for my site right now.

I have integrity, dammit! If I tell people something is good, and it’s not good, I look like a lying bastard. I may be a self-centered jackass, but not a lying bastard. I do draw the line somewhere! For that reason, when I say I like something, it means it’s worth checking out.

So yeah, play this whenever your in the mood for an hour or so of mellow type of fellow chill time. That, or at the beginning of a romantic evening at home, to ease your lady into feeling comfortable, and eventually into easing her pantydraws off.

Oh yeah, DJ Uncle Q does his thing, so if you ever hear about any party where he’s spinning, I highly recommend stopping through and enjoying the music.

Good stuff! Just downloaded. Raphael’s new CD “The Way I See It” is hawt and his performance here in DC a couple of weeks ago was top notch. I recorded the whole thing and people have been hitting it hard on You Tube. He’ll be back at the Black Cat next week for another show. Not to be missed.
