I know somewhere, all the white folks who were pissed off at the O.J. Simpson verdict in 1994 are smiling and celebrating now that O.J. is most definitely going away for a long time. That’s not what kills me about this whole situation. My thing is, you know that the jury had it in for him, because they handed down the verdict exactly 13 years to the day of his acquittal for the murder of his ex wife and that Goldman fellow. They were sending a message to O.J., and that message was: “We have not forgottten, motherf*cker!“
That said, I have no sympathy for Orenthal James Simpson, because there are two things that an intelligent person does whenever the system happens to inexplicably work out in your favor:
- Stop breaking the law.
- Shut the f*ck up.
O.J. did neither of these things, which is why he is now about to spend the rest of his giant Stewie Griffin-headed life behind bars. It’s hard to have sympathy for a guy who wrote a book dry-snitching on himself, then got caught bursting into a hotel room with guns at age 60. You’re too old for the thug sh*t, Orenthal! Everybody knows that you were supposed to pay someone to break in, get your stuff, slap the people in the room around a bit, and then get out of town once the deal is done! I know people in DC who would have done the job for a couple of thousand dollars and the cost of a round-trip ticket to Vegas…but that’s neither here nor there.
All I know is, I am glad that Johnnie Cochran wasn’t around for this foolishness. He probably would not have even taken this case! I’d imagine he would look O.J. right in the eyes and say “You’re in trouble again?! What kind of a dumbass are you? Lighning doesn’t strike the same place twice. F*ck that. You’re on your own!”
To sum up my feelings, even though it’s painfully obvious that many people have been eager to lock O.J. up for more than a decade, the fact that he played directly into their hands makes it hard for me to care about what happens to him at this point.

This is why anybody who’s an atheist is crazy. Who else but God could have orchestrated it so that The Juice’s conviction happened on the same day he was given another chance all those years ago, huh?
Johnnie would have at least rhymed, don’t you think, as he was dismissing O.J.: “O.J., I won’t take this case, so get outta my face!”
Dude got locked up for trying to retrieve stuff that was stolen from him. The justice system is a joke…
@ Anonymousnupe, I really should have made my Johnnie quote rhyme, too!
@ Jabari Talib, I know it’s BS, but he really should have known better than to do it himself. People have been f*cking with him for over a decade, so he should have realized that any percieved slip-up is enough to ruin his life.
Singing: “I’m locked up, they won’t let me out!”
That O.J.-Dumb@ss
I think the real question here is, if OJ is locked up who will search golf courses looking for the real killers?
@ Super Dave Van Buren, that made me laugh out loud! They should let O.J. finish his search for the real killers before sending him to prison!!!
his giant Stewie Griffin-headed life – tooooo funny!!! lol
If you try to get stuff back that was stolen from you, you do not go bustin up in the place yourself! That’s just stoopid. I have no sympathy for him.
I agree with you in full. Of course it’s obvious that “they” have had it out for him for quite some time (especially after that book)…but O.J. knew that! Sit yo old ass down somewhere and fondle some young white women in Boca Raton!
But nooooooo.
And LOL @ the Stewie Griffin comment…that kneegrow’s head is on supersize status!
I think the whole white people wanted him in jail is a joke. You are looking for racism.
We (we= people – ignore colour) all wanted him jail because he held people hostage using a gun.
