Ladies and gentlemen, today I present, a retrospective of past ListenToLeon Halloween Costumes. I haven’t even finished typing this entry yet, and I already regret it!
“Thriller” era Michael Jackson
First of all, that jacket was WAY too small. I couldn’t even lift my arms all the way up, for fear that I’d rip the thing! Secondly, that’s NOT a wig. I had cornrows at the time, and I took them out and put toxic levels of mousse in my hair to simulate the early 80’s MJ jheri curl. My ex-girlfriend was also in this picture, but since her costume looked sillier than mine, I cut her out of it. She can be mad if she wants to, but in the long run, I did her a favor so she really needs to give me a hug or something!

LL Cool J
I wore this costume to an 80’s party, and not a Halloween one. Now, since I’ve been working out a little more, I might update it and go to my usual Halloween party destination as LL again. Mainly because LL Cool J had such an early influence on my swagger, machismo and aura during my formative years. “I’m that type of guy!”
Flavor Flav
Same gold chain, different old school rapper! There was another Flavor Flav at that party, but he was quite gay. Since that meant he wouldn’t really need his Flavor of Love girls that night, I stole them from him. This photo was taken with the fake “Bootz” who also had her own clock.
Eazy-E
By far, the worst of the Halloween costumes, I looked more like some washed up member of MS-13, than the NWA legend. Plus, it’s never a good way to meet ladies by going to a party dressed as someone who lost a battle with AIDS.
Now, it’s time for you to help me decide who I should be this year. I have three easy-to-pull-off costume ideas ready to go. I just need some help deciding. Should I dress up as:
LL Cool J again – I can pull it off a little better this time around.
Stoney Jackson – Only 80’s geeks like me will know who he is, but I have the outfit ready to go
Philip Michael Thomas(Tubbs from Miami Vice) – See Stoney Jackson description
Jimi Hendrix – This costume is only missing the afro.
Right now, those are the front-runners. Let me know your opinion!

My other vote is LL. Lick your lips all night though to give it that authentic affect ;) And take lots of pictures!

I see you totally getting laid as Taimak from “The Last Dragon”. If you go for it and come out in no shirt and those kung fu pants and slippers it’s all over. Screw the weather, **Leon laughs at the predicted 40 degrees** this is strictly for da bootay baby!! See ya in the infirmary.

I am torn between El, Taimak and Stoney a la “Up Against the Wall” and “227″ what you know about that? You dont want to spend all night explainin who in the hell you sposed to be. So, Stoney may lose this Halloween.

I actually quite liked the e-z-e costume…
flavor flav… not so much… you looked nothing like him… which is prolly a good thing if you think about it…
ima vote phillip michael thomas… the pastel tee and blazer would be quite funny…

We caught The Last Dragon Saturday night. Then I caught I’m Gonna Get You Sucka. Stayed up till 3am that night and was yawning at church LOL

I think you should go as prolific street fighter turned MMA duelist Kimbo Slice. You get to be shirtless all night, so women will “inadvertently” brush against your “nickels” (as my 7-year-old calls them) throughout the course of the evening.

Fam, you could easily do Tubbs, I did it last year. You gotta rock a blazer and roll the sleeves up, pink shirt with multiple buttons popped, and loafers with no socks. One of the most fun times I’ve ever had in life, ladies loved it.
Oh, and tell Cincy that he look like Radames from Juice! LMAO
