Over the course of this week, the site will be going through some cosmetic changes. I ealize that I got a little lazy as far as the way that this site looks, so I’m going to ease my way into something acceptible.
The first thing that had to go was the header with the 70′s folks cursing each other out. I took it down for two reasons:
1.) It slowed down my page as far as loading time
2.) It scared away old people and church folks. Now, holy rollers can look at my fake-me-out Obama picture, and at least read a few entries first, before being shocked and disgusted.
I also turned my “Testimonials” page into a “Press” page, in order to put all of the writing accomplishments in one place. This way, folks can come here and realize that being an internet geek can actually gain one recognition from mainstream media. Vast sums of money? I haven’t figured that part out yet…but I’m working on it.
I’d love to get feedback on what you all like about the way the site is presented, and what you dislike about it. Right now, I know that content is this site’s strength. Once it’s visually up to par, there will be no stopping me!
Yes, that last sentence hinted at a Napoleonic complex…but it’s really not the case. I’m tall enough where I need to be. Ask your lady.

Can you please make your site mobile/iphone friendly? When I visit some blogs, they have a special ipod format.

Could you please make your site invisible, or, better still, cause it to automatically redirect to a blog that’s actually funny, like Dave Barry’s.

Naw, but on the real, other than hiring some actual professional comedic writers, there’s not much you can do to improve upon this steaming heap of guano.
(Actually I don’t think you blog frequently enough sometimes. There’s a ton of stuff that you could provide daily commentary on, with a dash of your unique levity to add a perspective that only you can.)

i liked the 70′s banner…it was different. maybe you could add like a streaming section for comments…sort of like a chat???
LMAO @ clayizaiken. I want to find a code where I can have them switch up with every visit. I saw Perez Hilton had something like that awhile back on his site. I’ll figure out a way to keep the 70′s image somewhere here for the folks that loved it.

I like the new banner, it has something about it.. an aura of change perhaps, a scent of power, a feeling of genius… whatever that something is, it makes me as happy as a tornado in a trailer park
I like the new banner. I liked the old 70′s one too though. I’ll still come and read the content either way. It did slow down the loading time though so that was a good reason to take it down.
