Jimmy Fallon’s House Band

I just found out that Jimmy Fallon has started a nightly video blog, giving folks a behind-the-scenes look at his transition into filling Conan O’Brien’s shoes as host of “Late Night.” That’s interesting enough, but what is even more interesting to me was who they got to be their new house band!

The Roots > Max Weinberg and whatever the Hell they’re called…

I’m definitely giving Jimmy more of a chance now. I mean, if all else fails, at least we know the music will be great! To see more, go to www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com

The Roots as Late Night’s new house band? Forreal? I’m definitely gonna have to tune in to see that.

any chance its a hoax? Will the Roots really give up touring to be a house band? Seems like a step down for them. But I guess on the flip side – folks who would have never heard the Roots will see them perform.

@ Brran & Claudette, I’m looking forward to being able to hear them live every night.

@ Bri, it’s been rumored for months, but this is the first time NBC actually confirmed it.

@ Wonderlove, “eh” back at you!

@ CurlyQ, the money is steady, and less travel!

@ Super Dave, that’s hilarious! You just made me think of Elaine dancing on “Seinfeld”!
