As you can see, I wrote a lot of funny stuff this year, just like I did over the course of the last three. This lead me to come to a realization today: I’m like Stevie Wonder in his prime when it comes to blogging! Think about it: Every year, I drop classics, the same way Stevie did in the 70′s. As far as blogging, I’m making “Songs In The Key Of Life” EVERY MOTHERF*CKIN’ YEAR! It’s so serious that I went to sleep last night and woke up this morning with dark shades on, and a head full of braids with beads and shells at the end.
2008 is coming to a close, so you entertainment industry power agents better start looking to Leon for your next book or sitcom! Seriously…Get under the umbrella or get rained on, got-damn it! Everyone else, have fun reading the best of ’08, and I look forward to making y’all laugh even more in ’09! I love y’all.

Hey Leon! just wanted to say HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! now because im starting my celebration early lol
i can’t tell you how happy I am that I found Listen to Leon this year- it was the bright spot in a really sucky 365 days (with an extra one thown in- ain’t that a bitch)…you have made my workdays so much more enjoyable…if i ever get to DC- I would luv to visit your crazy neighborhood…hands down- my fave of ’08′ is “BET Brought The Bitch Out Of Me”….”little mini eyeball rainstorms”…thanks- there’s coke all over my keyboard…keep up the good work!
Yay, Part II!! (LOL!) I’m gonna give my vote right now to “BET brought the “B” Out in Me”, and “Mutombo Elbow.” I’m sure there are more, but I’m @ work laughing to tears so hard that my co-workers actually did think I was crying, so I’d better stop reading the rest till I get home tonite.
