He ran awaaay!!
Ran awaaay,

My singing made sweet Jesus run awaaay,

Lmao I love this one. Jim Carrey was perfect. I love how they called out the congregants who bounced checks.
But this is one of my favorites (and I have many). I could go on and on about the commentary of the music industry and popular music, but who cares? Parodies make me laugh, 9 times out of 10.

honestly, i remember hearing that this was based on a true story…the late comedian sam kinison (sp) was an evangelist at one point and the collection plate was passed around and no one gave, or gave very little and i think he or his brother snapped and pulled a gun. and they say black preachers beg!
