Something In The Water…Called Lead.

Earlier this morning, I heard about an incident where a barista at the Starbucks on 16th and U Street NW shot himself in the leg like the minimum-wage version of Plaxico Burress. This just days after that Metro guy punched the police officer dressed as McGruff the Crime Dog. I even saw a clip from my hometown of Fredericksburg, VA where someone took cow-tipping to new levels by getting out of the car to tackle the Chick-Fil-A cow! It’s enough to make you think that there’s something in the water.

Wait a minute…there is! There is something in the water! The fact that DC’s water was of the highly leaded variety a few years back, has proven to be a large contributor to all of this foolishness, nonsense and assf*ckery going on these days. All this time, I blamed things on the late 80′s Rayful Edmonds drug era crack babies reaching adolescence and adulthood. Come to find out, our faucets were the true culprits!

Ladies and gentlemen, for the sake of all things good and righteous, invest in a Brita filter or something. Don’t be cheap on replacement filters, either. It’s pointless to have the whole apparatus on your faucet, with the same used up filter from the Christmas before last. For the sake of your fellow city residents, pay the money for a new one, and avoid drinking the lead-based crazy serum that DC calls tap water!

Man, I knew WASA wasnt telling the truth back then! And since then Ive used the Pur water filtration system. Very nice results – I recommend them highly!
