I had no idea that The Family Guy was planning to make a spin-off starring Peter Griffin’s passive-aggressive neighbor, Cleveland. I’m pretty excited, because I always thought that his character was underutilized on the show. You never know, this could be our generation’s version of The Jeffersons. Well, The Jeffersons with a much more subdued and defeated leading man!
…Or, it could just plain suck. Only time will tell.
The news today is that Kanye West is going to guest star as an aspiring rapper in an episode to air during the 1st season. I’m sure it’ll be funny, because Seth McFarlane and company don’t f*ck around! Here is an intro clip for the show…although I remember seeing some of these highlights before from previous episodes of Family Guy.

I’m…gonna reserve judgment for this one. Don’t get me wrong, I’m one of the few people I know who still love both Family Guy and Kanye West. However, I’m a little concerned about where this is gonna go. Will it be just a bunch of race jokes? *Yawn* I’ll say right now Boondocks did it better. And Cleveland’s so…wholesome. His dynamic with idiotic Peter is great. I just don’t know how this will work. I really want it to, b/c I like Seth McFarlane shows, even the under-appreciated American Dad. And in the promo pic, Cleveland’s family lives next to BEARS? Where the hell did that come from? I’m still excited for it despite my rant. Lol, I’m a nerd.
I’m not feelin’ a show about Cleveland I have his role on Family Guy as is.
Everyone seems to forget that the guy who does Cleveland’s voice is white. I am not sure how I feel about his new show. I guess I will have to wait until the first episode before judging.
