I love the fact that they used the same Natalie Cole song from their commercials for this! Pretty funny stuff. I always wonder how the folks at FunnyOrDie.com talk these celebrities into making the sketches that they put on their site.
This also makes me laugh for a completely different reason. A friend of mine whom shall go unnamed told me that joining eHarmony is an easy way to get laid. Although I quite enjoy getting laid, I’m going to refrain from doing it under the guise of pretending to be someone looking to immediately settle down. I think eHarmony users might not be too happy about paying for a service, then getting relegated to “Leon’s Tuesday night jumpoff” status.
Then again, half of dating in general is done under the assumption that maybe one day the person you are seeing might be someone to settle down with. Every day, people have sex under the false pretense that eHarmony is built on!
Damn. This is too much thinking. Especially since it came about thanks to Lindsay Lohan, and my joking about people joining eHarmony.com to get quick, easy trim. My personal philosophy on dating is that it should be used to get to know the person better, and see how much you enjoy being around each other. There should be no expectations of sex, marriage, or even a second date. The only expectation that should be carried into a date should be to have a good time. Tarik Walton did a good job of explaining this in his book, “It’s Just A Damn Date.”
Whatever the case, I’d love to hear what type of thoughts went through your mind when you saw this video, then when you read about the eHarmony humpers out there in the world.

I was in the grocery store yesterday and saw that US mag and was like leave Lindsey alone. The girl just broke up with her gal give her a break. I wouldn’t want my face blasted on some mag two seconds after I broke up with my beau. She has alot of courage to make fun of herself so soon. TMZ, and E! and US are on my nerves right now, but I still watch and read..teehee!
I got off eHarmony for that very reason! I figured why should I pay for something that happens for free anyway.
LMAO @ “Leon’s Tuesday Night Jump Off” Status…
LoL. I can appreciate Lindsay for making fun of herself. She’s a G for that in my eyes. As far as e-harmony goes, my mama has a friend that met a dude e-harmony. They’ve been married for 4 years now. So I guess she bypassed the Tuesday Night Jumpoff phase. LoL
Eh….Blohan needs the money….
I thought this was hysterical. I don’t really pay much attention to what she does, but I give her kudos for making fun of herself.
I’ve done eharmony and didn’t become a TNJO. matter of fact, I only ever got one date off of it. Not a lot of goodlooking men on that site, IMHO.
The one guy I did go out with from eharmony bugged me after our one date for a month. He called me “an exquisite specimen of lovely womanhood.”
‘Nuff said.
Hey there would you mind letting me know which web host you’re utilizing? I’ve loaded your blog in 3 different web browsers and I must say this blog loads a lot quicker then most. Can you suggest a good hosting provider at a reasonable price? Cheers, I appreciate it!
