Jimi Hendrix: 1 Night Only Halloween Performance in Washington DC

As you can clearly see, my soul was inhabited by the spirit of Jimi on Saturday night. I went to the same Halloween house party that I attend every year, and as always, I had a great time. more pictures of the ensuing mayhem and silliness are below.    

I could not figure out whether the costume looked better with the fake mustache, or with my real one. You all can be the judge of that, as you see me posing with Sarah Palin.

Life kind of made the decision for me, since the fake mustache would not stay on most of the night. It didn’t matter, because the afro was REAL! The hair, tight shirt and rock & roll nut-hugger jeans made it all work.

Apparently Jimi has all kinds of fans, from the undead, to Carribean Carnival goers!

This was probably the costume that made me laugh the most: Diana Ross’ mugshot. I love the runny mascara, suggesting she just got done crying and screaming at police offficers!

We even had Les Grossman from Tropic Thunder in the building! I can’t believe that I instantly recognized this guy’s costume. Talk about random and original!
