John Allen Muhammad Was Executed. Bye!

John Allen Muhammad a.k.a. the DC Sniper, was executed tonight by lethal injection. I’m not a huge advocate for or against the death penalty, because I have mixed feelings about it. However, if any one person deserved capital punishment, it was THAT motherf*cker right there!

I remember when the sniper rampage was going on out here. I was working at The Washington Times in the advertising department. It’s the only job of my adult life that I’ve ever hated. It was so bad, that I would wait for everyone else to leave the office, then go to other people’s computers and write anonymous letters to the editor about the f*cked up, tasteless, ultra-conservative stuff they’d publish in that day’s paper.

The Washington Times’ headquarters is located right on New York Avenue, near the MD/DC border. At the time, people assumed the snipers were using New York Avenue as a main route to carry out the killings. They also thought a white box truck was involved. I don’t know if this is still the case, but white box trucks were traveling up and down New York Avenue on a fairly regular basis back when I worked at the Times.

The advertising building is near a service road which that leads you about 1/4 mile to the parking lot. All of which is directly next to New York Avenue. Every day when I left that building and walked to the parking lot, I thought to myself “Ohsh*t. I’m gonna die. I’m gonna die, leaving a job that I F*CKING HATE! This is some bullsh*t!”

Although that ordeal kept me from wasting my life away at The Washington Times, the terror that gripped the area when Muhammad and Malvo were out killing innocent people is something everyone in the area at the time will never forget. Therefore, I have no sympathy whatsoever for John Allen Muhammad.

I do feel a slight bit of sympathy for Malvo since he was a child who got pushed to the edge by a very violent man. However, I still think he deserves to rot in jail for the rest of his life. I mean at some point, you have to think to yourself, “I just shot someone who did nothing to me. Something doesn’t feel right about this.”

Since Malvo didn’t express this until he was facing the death penalty himself, I think he’s exactly where he belongs…Just like Muhammad.

Let me stop saying mean stuff, because Muhammad kind of looked like he could have starred in a sequel to “Candyman.” That’s all I need is to have this fool’s ghost show up at my house tonight like “I saw that sh*t you wrote motherf*cker!” So for the sake of superstition(and leftover trauma from watching Candyman as a child), I’ll bring today’s entry to a close.

  2. You might need therapy to get over Candyman. Seriously dude, we’ve never met but I know that much.
I was in a similar situation after 9/11 in a tallass building in Manhattan. Im anti death penalty but Im not too sad about this dude losing his life. Plus saying Muhammed in the mirro five times is just as likely to bring about the Muslim God as it is to conjure this sack of doodoo.

  3. We only have one life to live. Let’s not waste it by making bad decisions. We were given a free-will to choose life or death. Let us make it a point to always choose life. No matter how hard life is sometimes, it’s always good to be alive!
