Thank You Everybody

It’s a day after Thanksgiving, and I know that most of you are either slowly emerging from turkey-induced comas, or in the middle of furious Black Sunday shopping. If I may, I’d like to deliver a quick message to you all:

Thank you.

Yes, thank you for supporting me, reading my site, encouraging me, inspiring me, giving me honest criticism, and telling others about ListenToLeon.net. I would have stopped writing this site a long time ago if I thought no one was amused by it. Thankfully, the love you readers have shown keeps me going, and makes me push myself to become better.    

Speaking of that, I recently wrote a guest blog entry on Luvvie’s site about black people with color complexes, and it made me think about the state of this blog. I wrote that entry, determined to make it the funniest of her guest week contributors. Whether I achieved that goal is open to debate, but the entire writing process brought about an epiphany. That epiphany: As my offline workload has increased, I  have been coasting a bit over here as far as content.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve shared some funny stories and observations since the summer ended. That said, I’m capable of much more and I need to get a better system of balancing my offline career with my online one. This probably means there will be less drunken party stories since I’ll be busy with new site content, which I’m sure the little people community is probably happy about.

I just want to once again say thank you for sticking by me through the “so hilarious I might get fired from my job for laughing” days, and the “OK, that sh*t was just aaight” ones. I guarantee the “hilarious” will outnumber the “aaight” from here on out.
