This is why being a criminal and a dumb-ass is a bad combination. I saw this story last week, and realized I had to share it in light of my own recent cell phone saga. A woman was robbed in Philadelphia, and among the things taken from her was her cell phone. Little did the guy who took it know, the phone was programmed to automatically send any pictures taken from it to the victim’s computer.
Fast-forward almost two months later. The thief, Kadeem Cook, decides he wants to take a ridiculous profile picture for his Myspace account with a gun pointed at his head. I’m assuming that photo is for Myspace, because he looks like someone who would still be on Myspace or Blackplanet every single day. You know, the type of dude that sends unsolicited message to women he’s never met saying things like “Damn you sexy. I’ll eat that pussy!”
You can probably guess how this story ends. The photo made it to the victim’s computer, which made it to the police, which ended up on the news, and now the guy is in jail. Let that be a lesson to you all. Crime does not pay. Especially if you’re a simpleton!
