A gay dude tried to pick me up via Facebook this morning. Below, I have posted the transcript of what went down. Before you say “Aww man, that’s messed up” I am changing main man’s screen name for the sake of anonymity and removing the link. As you can clearly see, I tried to take the high road when this guy made his move. When he proceeded to write an even more explicit response, I still tried to keep it civil despite the fact that I know if I were to say something equivalent to that to a woman I was trying to holler at in a club, she would be well within her rights to slap me. It was only when this fool refused to take the hint and started begging, that I decided I cannot be nice about it anymore. Had he respected the fact that I’m not into men, I would not have put his solicitation out there for all the world to see. He chose to ignore and press forward, and this is the result…
To each and every person out there who has ever had to shoot someone down before, whether they were gay or straight, take this blog entry as proof that some people are only capable of learning things the hard way. You should always try to be nice first, but if they’re not trying to listen to nice, fuck it! Tell them the ugly truth, and do not spare their feelings. If you ever feel the need to ask someone “what part of ‘no’ don’t you understand?” then by all means, they deserve to be knocked down for persisting with the nonsense! It’s 2010. Life is too short for the bullshit!
