Remember Lionel Richie’s “Hello” video? The one where he plays a teacher borderline stalking a blind student he’s in love with? Well my friends, the video is proof that love is indeed as blind as the girl that Lionel was following around. I say that, because at the end of the clip when blind girl revealed her true feelings by unveiling the bust of Lionel Richie, he did not snicker, gasp or say “Oh shit!” I know I would have upon being greeted by that thing.
“Blind” artist or not, y’all have to admit that the bust is f*cking hilarious.
That thing looks like the Bizarro World genetic disaster version of Lionel Richie. Or even more accurately, like his mentally challenged, strong-chinned older brother with severe sunburn. Hell, it actually looks more like The Great Khali than Lionel Richie!
She couldn’t even do justice to Lionel’s trademark jheri curl shag, instead making it look like a beaver died on top of the poor guy’s head. His real life shag was so terrible that it had nowhere to go but up. How she made it look even worse is almost unfathomable.
I’m going to leave the other crap-tacular points of this bust alone, because quite frankly, I’m sure we’re all 100% on the same page with this one. You all have Anthony from Anacostia the Web Series to thank for this entry, because he’s the one who reminded me of this video earlier today.

OK, I promise THIS is the last inappropriate thought of the day: What if the blind girl got offended when Lionel bursts into song when she touches his face? It would have been messed up if she’d responded by saying “You think you’re funny, huh? Talking ’bout ‘is it me you’re looking for?’ BITCH I CAN’T SEE!
