Apparently, I slept through an Earthquake early this morning. This is not good! People always tell me I’m a hard sleeper, but I had no idea that I could actually remain unconscious as the Earth beneath me got to shaking and shimmying. If the planet itself cannot awaken me from my slumber which included a dream where I discovered I’m Superman’s black half-brother Leroy, then God knows what may happen the next time I slumber that hard! I may have to worry about the following happening the next time I go to bed:
- The ceiling fan could fall and slap me repeatedly.
- Star Jones could break into my house and rape me.
- Ninjas could steal one of every sock that I own, just to piss me off.
The possibilities are endless! I’m going to do some research on sleep this weekend (translation: I’m really going to sit on my ass, google “heavy sleeping” and read whatever comes up). Hopefully, I’ll solve this problem before Star Jones sneaks into my bedroom with some chloroform wearing a Zoe Saldana mask and takes advantage of my morning wood.

I slept through it too.
Zoe is supa bad. THERE IS NO WAY STAR COULD PASS FOR HER, DAMN THAT WOULD BE “HEAVY SLEEP” and a HEAVY awakening.
LOL @ Bus12103!!! Yeah, that would be like waking up from a dream to a real-life nightmare!
@ Bre, glad I’m not alone
Probably nothing serious. If you are deep within the REM cycle, its hard to wake up, even for some loud noises/environment changes. Now if it was a 7.5 and you were still sleeping….
I was up, watching Black Dymanite on Starz LOL, drinking my coffee before my cardio work out. It was cool, yet strange not too jarring but like a strong vibration.
@ first I didn’t know what it was, felt it, looked around like WTF, thought it was a jet or plane over at Bowling AFB, but heard no noise *orange shrug* then during my workout found out it was indeed an earthquake, way cool!
@ J. Cooper, good point. It was a 3.somethingorother
@ Orange Star, I kind of feel like I was cheated out of that same feeling!
