How I Watched The Lunar Eclipse

Yep. #RealNiggaAstronomy. It was too cold to watch it any other way! I had to get a few drinks in my system and bundle up first! Not only that…I live in DC. If I’m going to stand around and watch the moon disappear at 2AM in the morning, I can’t look friendly. Crooks have to be able to see me, and think twice about whether it’s gonna be worth it before trying to rob me while I’m motherf*ckin’ star-gazing!

So now that I’ve accomplished my goal of looking like the world’s most thugged-out geek, I’ll say that it was pretty cool to see the lunar eclipse. I was hoping it would give me super powers like being in the red sun of Krypton, but alas, I can’t fly, catch bullets in my teeth, or see through ladies’ blouses. Despite the fact that I didn’t gain much from the eclipse, I’m still glad I did it. We’ll see if I still feel that way when I’m in the office at 9AM…but as of right now, I do not regret it.

Keeping hood shit from interfering with nerd shit. Impressive.

I decided start a little window painting project so I’d be awake while it was happening. It was SO COLD! I went outside a few times and eventually it positioned itself right in front of the window I was painting so I got to see the rest of it from inside. I guess it was worth it. But all of us eclipse-watchers are going to pay for it big time tomorrow, or rather later today.

It definitely looked cool, but I should have gone somewhere better suited to watch it instead of around the corner from where I live.
