So…how many of you would discipline your child via social media? I can’t lie, I laughed at this video because if you’re going to try to create some kind of make-believe online tough guy presence, you deserve to be embarrassed by a loved one. Better that then get shot dead in the street by someone once you start believing your own hype.
I kind of wish that the parent used less curse words…and put on a shirt. No one wanted to see that man’s ashy torso and blue draws on display like that. He kind of loses some of his credibility as a role model, since he looks and sounds like someone who’s made a handcuffed appearance or two on “Cops.”
All hood family instant karma ass whuppings aside, how many of you are for spanking children, and how many are against it? Also, would you embarass your kid via social media if you felt like the situation deserved it?

Spanking children…. no problem. That video…. I do not see a problem with that at all. But some parents take things too far. It is one thing to discipline a kid, but abuse is something totally different. A few whacks from the belt or your hand… that is OK, IMO. Beating a kid relentlesly for hours? That is abuse. Making a kid get naked so you can beat him…. that is taking things too far. A slap? I wouldn;t do it, but I don’t see it as a big problem. But punching a kid, or hitting them repeatedly…. that is too much. I had a cousin who used to get BEAT when he was a kid…. his father would go in his room and we would he crashing and banging against the wall and shit. And this would go on and on…. that is abuse. I would draw the line at a few spanks or whacks from the belt on the backside. Beyond that you are not teaching a kid to behave, you are teaching him to use violence.
I agree. People need to know the limits. I think that most normal people should be able to see when enough is enough, but sadly, a lot of people take things way too far, which is why corporal punishment is such a controversial topic.
Yeah, I remember even at 9 or 10 years old thinking that my cousin was going to end up a serial killer because of the treatment he got. At like 6 years old he was drawing pictures of himself blowing up crowds of people, and shooting into large groups. He would kick, punch and bite kids in school. And his parents couldn’t understand why! And, it was only him. His sister, who was years old, would occasionally get a whack with a wooden spoon (I think every Italian kid has) but the way they treated him was just above and beyond. I don’t know what my aunt and uncle were thinking, but if I hated them so much for it, I can only imagine how he felt!
And oh yeah, to this day I would not be surprised if they found bodies in my cousin’s freezer….
Man, that big ass kid didn’t even cry. Probably could’ve beat his daddy down if it came to that. Anyway, too bad there’s no video of what Uncle Alice used to do to me in the basement. Somebody needs to put him on blast for that s**t!

I wish more parents would beat/spank their kids. Personally, I think much of the foolishness that happens now is because parents are too busy or too scared or worse, think its wrong to hit their children. Most of us in our mid 30s and older were hit as children and it kept us in line.
