The last Blog Spot Happy Hour was a success, so we’re doing it again. Unlike movie sequels, party sequels tend to get better as they move forward, so I strongly advise you to bring your stankin’ ass to The Park at Fourteenth this Thursday after work. No cover. $5 drinks. Great food. What the Hell else could you possibly want?
As an added bonus, the most random pairing of live performers ever will be taking place on one of the 5 floors of the building that night: Que, formerly of Day 26, and rapper Chubb Rock. This is happening because last week’s snow storm caused some rescheduling. So just think: Old school hip-hop heads, and ladies who watched Making the Band will be in attendance. It should make for an interesting if-not-hilarious cross-section of people there, along with the usual crowd of sexy motherf*ckers and the men who buy drinks for them.
The list of Hosts is as follows:(soon to be updated with more)
- Yours Truly,
- TC, a.k.a. Tommie Collins, a.k.a. The man who may or may not have helped me steal a fire hydrant
- Danielle Belton the award-winning creator of The Black Snob
- The legendary Modi of DCtoBC.com, who is someone making major moves these days
- CM Grant, the woman behind A Word or Three.
The flier in the image above has more detailed information on it, but feel free to ask me any questions that you may have about the event. I look forward to seeing you all there, and once again, thanks to everyone who came to the last one.
