I really shouldn’t be this excited about NickTeen’s announcement of retro programming, The 90′s Are All That, but I am. Between episodes of Ren & Stimpy, Doug(pictured above) and Clarissa Explains It All, I’m a happy camper! I can’t wait to laugh at the dated fashions and random antics of these characters from my youth.
On a Clarissa Explains It All note, her little brother Ferguson always cracked me up. Not because he was evil and treacherous; but for the simple fact that his name is Ferguson. That name always makes me think of old men who smell like moth balls and cheese. Therefore, any child with a name like Ferguson is awesome. That, or predestined for therapy. Also, I used to have a slight crush on Melissa Joan Hart, but that wasn’t until the Sabrina the Teenage Witch era. Before y’all try to call me R. Kelly, please note that she is older than I am, so I was well within my rights to desire to penetrate her back in those days.
So to Nickelodeon, thank you for bringing back all of these old school shows. If I actually find some time to sit down and watch them, I will be greatly appreciative!
