Gotta pay a quick tribute to Bubba Smith, a.k.a. Lieutenant Hightower from the Police Academy films. If this clip from his guest appearance on Married With Children does not make you laugh, then your sense of humor is irreparably broken. That, or you’re a Commie bastard.
Rest In Peace, Bubba Smith. You were a great football player and a wonderful comedic actor. In the immortal words of Badullah, “Yama yama yama yama!”
On a side note, I love how all the old Police Academy films would find a reason to send folks to the Blue Oyster gay bar, and the same song would come on every time. Whenever I see someone who appears to have a little sugar in his tank, I hear that song in my head and snicker to myself like Muttley. The name of the song is El Bimbo, just in case you were wondering.
