It always surprises me when I encounter a real-life misogynist. How does one manage to hate ALL women? It seems like quite a laborious undertaking. I don’t have the time or energy to hang on to beefs with one person these days, let alone an entire gender! Besides, it’s completely ridiculous, which should go without saying.
The other day, I was at a bar and a stranger walked next to me, sat down, and began expressing his disdain for “Black bitches.” He moved on to talk about women of pretty much every race, but kept going back to his recent experiences with Black ones, and why he “don’t f*ck with them” because they’re “too stuck-up” and they “always think a nigga wanna talk to ‘em.” Of course, I used this stream of ignorance as an opportunity to have some fun at his expense, while simultaneously trying to enlighten him. Here’s an excerpt from the conversation:
Leon: “You keep on talking about ‘black bitches.’ Your Mom is black, right? I can’t see how you’re making this connection.”
Misogynist Guy: “That ain’t the same thing. Not all Black women. My momma is different.”
Leon: “She was young at some point. Plus, you exist, so she was obviously f*cking. She ain’t that different.”
Misogynist Guy: *Glares at me for a split-second as if he wants a confrontation, then wisely decides against it as if he already knew that even thinking about whupping my ass is not a good idea*
Leon: All I’m saying is, people are different. You can’t just group everyone together like that. Plus, it’s sounds to me like you have approach issues. Yes, you, the man venting about women to a total stranger! What do you think the chicks here at the bar who hear you talking are thinking? I promise you, it’s not ‘I want to sleep with that guy who hates me.‘ That goes for everybody though; when a dude gets shot down, at least 80% of the time, it’s because of something HE said or did and not because the woman is somehow f*cked up.”
I’m pretty sure the message in my talk fell on deaf, drunken ears. The sad part is that it’s not the first time I’ve been at a bar and had someone drown his sorrows away and start complaining about “females” to me. It always says way more about them than any point they could hope to make about the women in the past whom have so-called scorned them. I start to assume things. What type of things? Well, I’m glad you asked!
Leon’s Pseudo-Psychological Profile of the Misogynist:
- Although stereotypes can be a time-saver in certain situations*, usually, they’re ignorant and a lazy cop-out from reality. Therefore, stereotypes regarding an entire gender tells me that you’re a bit of a simpleton with deep-seated issues you choose not to confront.
- Any man who hates women that much, just might love penis.
- You’re mentally weak and insecure. It takes way less energy to move past a perceived slight, than to dwell on it, allowing it consume you and control your everyday dealings in life.
There you have it: I have written it here, on the internet, so it’s as true and thoroughly researched as anything you’ll ever see in the New England Journal of Medicine or Psychology Today. Take these doctorings of mine and use them to enlighten the masses! Help rid society of people who hate an entire gender for all kinds of random, ass-backwards reasons.
* All I’m saying in the first bullet point is that stereotypes come in handy when it’s imperative that a snap judgement is made. Lets say it’s 4AM, and you see a disheveled person walking up to you in all-black, with what appears to be a knife in his hand; You don’t KNOW if he’s planning to rob, rape or murder you, but why f*cking take that chance? RUN! RUN GODDAMN IT! RUN AWAY NOW! See what I mean? Snap-judgement made; potential crisis averted!

I know a few dudes like this. Oddly enough, they were all raised by their mothers. I think the hate stems from issues they have with her that they project onto other women because they can’t fathom accepting they have mommy issues (and by extension, ABSENT daddy issue).

Yes some women are bitches, but to boycott ALL of us is definitely effed up. And I hope the men were paying attention to that what you said about 80% of the time a woman disses a man is because of something he did/said. So damn true!

Eh, I’d give the guy the benefit of the doubt. Probably just got dumped, tried to hastily find a rebound at the bar after getting drunk, and then gets rejected. I would never act like that, but who hasn’t had similar feelings.
And like you’ve never heard a woman complain about ALL men being jerks/liars/cheaters etc. I am more inclined to make fun of Leon for trying to reason with a drunk guy at a bar who just got rejected.
I can honestly say I’ve never felt that way about ALL women. And yes, I’ve heard women say dumb shit like that, too. It still doesn’t make what he said any less stupid. Also, if that many women blow you off, screw you over, or cuss you out, it might be something about you that brings out the best in folks. Or maybe this guy and ones like him are fighting too much with their true nature. Maybe if they just embrace the penis, they’ll have an easier time of it LOL That his mama is different is a clear sign.
Hell the same goes for women. Figure out what’s wrong with your approach or your choices before blaming all men for your misfortune. Now if you’re delusional then it doesn’t matter.
