Recovering From a Cyber-Assault

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial

Dr. King frowns upon your internet f*ckery

Please forgive the mess. My site got hacked last week, so after I opened up a can of whup ass on the attempted cyber assault, It left things a little unsettled. As you may or may not have noticed, the preview images are no longer on the main page of my site. However, it’s a small price to pay considering I discovered what a Google Bomb was firsthand and lived to tell the tale. Yeah, I said it! Someone tried to launch a terrorist attack on me! I thoroughly crushed some passive-aggressive jihadist’s dream by whupping the dog sh*t out of that punk ass Google Bomb.

To whomever did it, my people are still looking for you. Once I get a good lead, I’m going to hunt your Richard Reid digital shoe bomb with dirty laces and shit on the soles wearing ass down like Liam Neeson in Taken, only there will be a lot more violence this time. That’s what you get for trying to hijack my search engine listings!

Yes bitch. I have people! Don’t ever fix your mouth to doubt me again. I’ll slap you in the mouth so hard your grandchildren will have a lisp.

Now that I’m done threatening to do physical harm to hackers, let me once again reiterate that I’m working on some changes for the site. It’s already more secure, but I’m using what happened as an excuse to tweak the layout a bit and make some overdue improvements. Hopefully, you’ll see the difference pretty soon.

As far as Dr. King in the photo above, I posted that because I thought his stern expression on the new memorial fit the tone of this particular entry. Also, I’m looking forward to actually seeing the finished Memorial next weekend once it’s dedicated. It looks pretty impressive, judging from the photos I’ve seen. What do you all think of it?

I like that he’s not smiling. The work he started isn’t done, so the stern expression is a reminder to keep pushing forward.

im still mad that the King family felt the need to get paid for the use of his image on the memorial.

Once the hoopla dies down I’ll go past and see the memorial myself..it’s right down the street from the gig and I walk to the Lincoln memorial and back bout 2 miles, every Weds as part of fitness routine.

Great to know you on the hackers, some sites let folk attach viruses etc and do nothing about it.

It might not look like it at times, but I try to keep the site running smoothly. Can’t put folks at risk just for reading it
