Slavery The Game

Slavery The Game

I just saw a promo clip for Slavery the Game courtesy of Luvvie. Whether this is real or not, the fact that a game like this could actually be produced in this day and age is truly disappointing. It probably be financially disastrous for the company developing it, but still, I would not be surprised if this game actually does turn out to be a genuine product. Therefore I have decided that once I’ve made my fortune from comedy, I think I’m getting a White slave.

Before you start saying, “Leon, that’s horrible,” let me explain what I mean. I would never own an actual slave of any kind. That’s deplorable. However, I could hire an intern or personal assistant of the Caucasian persuasion, and do something like make him answer to the name “Raheem” or “Dikembe.”  I’d make sure to write him a good recommendation afterward, and maybe refer him for a real job with some dignity once he’s paid his dues working for me. So you see, it’s not really White slavery, but more of a “let me fight ignorance with pettiness” sort of thing. Hell, most entertainment internships and entry-level jobs are way more degrading than that!

I’m probably going to get some heat for this entry, so to those offended, I say “f*ck you if you can’t take a joke.” It’s all in the name of fun and laughter, unlike the video game above. To create something that exploits and trivializes the suffering of so many generations of people in an institution where the effects of which are still visible, is cruel and insensitive. I’ll be watching this story closely to see if this is real, or some kind of elaborate internet prank.

As far as my “indentured servitude” internship, I was definitely just joking about that. I will be searching for interns soon, but trust me, I’m laid-back and easy to work with. No need to fear potential degradation. That is, unless you say or do something really stupid. If so, then you brought that sh*t on yourself!
