Tonight at 8PM, I will be performing stand-up at the DC Improv. I recently took their 5 Minutes To Funny class and this evening is the graduation showcase. I can’t wait to get onstage and make folks laugh in real-time as opposed to via a computer monitor or smart phone. Folks who went to last month’s “You Know What Really Grinds My Gears” already know that I can bring the funny offline. I cannot help but be excited though, because this is a real comedy club; not a dive bar, not a room full of other comedians, but a real-deal Holyfield comedy spot!
If your funny bone is weak, prepare to have it BROKEN with laughter. I’m serious. People always say “I died laughing” at this, that & the 3rd, but someone in weak health just may get carted off in a body bag thanks to the sheer amount of uncut hilarity I shall unleash tonight. I’ll sing a stirring rendition of Gangsta Lean at that person’s home-going services out of appreciation for coming to my show, but yeah, that’s the level of comedy I’m exposing folks to this fine Wednesday evening.
*EDIT* My lawyer just advised me that it may be unwise to literally kill anyone with laughter. According to him, I am not built for the penitentiary. I shall heed his counsel, I will do my best to keep the level of comedy from crossing the fine-line between “amusement” and “involuntary manslaughter.”
Once again, the show begins at 8PM, but doors open at 6:30. You might want to get to the DC Improv early in order to find a good seat. More details can be found here as well as here.

I’ll be there chief!! Your ass better be funny!
Actually, the show was last night. Thanks for the support though. I’m going to post video of my performance as soon as it’s sent to me.
I missed out….it seems you didn’t give your a just due advanced notice; would have like to have been there. Maybe next time!
You’re right, I didn’t do a good job of getting the word out. I mainly relied on Facebook & Twitter this time around, but I see that my strategy was a mistake!
I should be receiving video of my performance any day now. When I do, I am posting it here. Also, I’ll definitely be doing more shows since people enjoyed what I did onstage.
If they do, we’ll see them on “How to Ask for an Ass-whuppin” lol
