Katt Williams Had A Rough Week!

No doubt about it, Katt Williams has had one Hell of a rough week. Between  getting arrested, being kicked out of a hotel and the release of a mugshot so hilarious it almost gave Nick Nolte and the late James Brown a run for their money, Katt has been through a lot. Fortunately for our diminutive permed-up comedian friend, he did something right this week: Katt Williams amused the Hell out of me with his comedy CD box set!

When I got an email offering me the opportunity to get a free Katt Box, I had to jump at it. When the package arrived, I immediatly opened it, and discovered that the box set contains audio of three Katt Williams concert performances. I’d seen them all before, but they still had me cracking up laughing for the bulk of the day. You can say what you want about Katt Williams’ recent behavior, but the man is flat-out funny. It comes out today, so I might actually get one of these as a Christmas gift for someone and spread some pimpin’ holiday cheer!   Read the rest of this entry »

Roman Polanski: 32 Years On The Run

After 32 years of running from an arrest warrant in the U.S., Roman Polanski was arrested this weekend, and is now facing extradition to be sentenced for having sex with a 13 year old back in 1977. First of all, I don’t have much sympathy for child-f*ckers, even if they have been victimized by the Holocaust and the Manson cult killings, as in the case of Polanski. Life is tough. What does  any of that have to do with a 13 year old’s innocence? I really wish Chris Hansen had been at the airport when they got him. That would have made it unbelievably entertaining.

I wish that one fellow hadn’t killed himself, so we could have some new episodes of “Dateline: To Catch A Predator.” All we can do now is cut on MSNBC to watch re-runs of the same perverts getting their emails read aloud then later being tackled to the ground by the police.     Read the rest of this entry »

Domestic Violence

I have really been trying to avoid writing about the topic of domestic abuse lately. It’s something that I am strongly against, but also an area where I know there are plenty of gray areas, which makes it tricky to deal with. My fellow bloggers and the mainstream media have all made me quite tired of the Chris Brown and Rhianna saga, so I was hoping to get a quick break. Then, I log on my computer this morning and see that BeBe Winans was recently arrested for beating his ex wife.

BEBE WINANS?! I know they say we all fall short of God’s grace sometimes, but I never thought I’d see BeBe’s holy-roller self facing domestic abuse charges! I don’t want to pass judgement since I don’t know all the facts…but you know this is a comedy site.
